• 0.2-1km asteroid (bigger than Arizona crater maker):

  • Several thousand Solar System objects are this size
  • NOT all have been identified!
  • But remember how BIG space is from our scale model
  • Probability of impact by undiscovered asteroid ~1/100,000 each year (one estimate, possibly conservative).
