Massive (15 to 300 Me)

Thick Atmosphere

• H2, He, Methane (CH4), Ammonia (NH3)

Low density (0.7 to 1.8x the density of water)

• Saturn would float!

Small rocky core surrounded by huge ocean of liquid hydrogen.

• Is the core a terrestrial planet?

All are found more distant than about 5 astronomical units from the sun.
