firstly, boinc downloaded & installed ok on two laptops, got SETI WUs, processed some, uploaded results, now waiting to report. I presume that's as it should be. Question is, when I start boinc I get a Zonealarm alert that boinc gui wants server access. I deny it, but why the request? Surely it is just a client. What is it listening for?
