I finally installed BOINC/SETI a few days ago. In that time, there have been several times when I've seen WUs that were "ready to report". Not being exactly the patient type, I did the "Update Project" to send those (and the messages seem to confirm that). The only thing is, I'm not seeing any change in my pending (or completed for that matter) WUs. Is there a problem? Or am I doing something wrong? |

You're doing nothing wrong, but each workunit has to be crunched by 3 computers. All those computers have to send back the work unit and do the extra report the unit part. Then the units have to be validated. Finally you will get the middle of the 3 claimed credits granted. Yet if no other computer has crunched & sent back your units yet, because everyone is stockpiling them, then it can take a while before you see any results. ---------------------- Jordâ„¢ |

Yes, I understand that's why they'd show up as "pending" instead of "complete" (or verified, or whatever that status is called). But I've not got anything even showing up as "pending". It's strange. |
