I apparently inadvertently signed up using the create account option instead of transfering from old seti program. I tried to rectify this by changing my e mail address then going through the procedure again, this time chosing the right option. This has now left me with two accounts and still no way to transfer / merge the various computers into the correct account. Is there any way to merge users and retain the results from the incorrectly set up account? Peter Harper |

The account did not transfer the computers; it just created an additional user under my name with no computers so it will not start computing. The previous account is working fine, so if the problem cannot be solved right now I'll just wait until it can. Peter Harper |

I can see a few security problems with allowing hosts to merge. To get the computers on the transferred account, you will have to detach, and reattach each computer, make sure that you attach with the transfer account info. ![]() |
