Hello, was somebody able to compile the seti_boinc client from cvs source ? I´m getting some errors during configure under linux. There seems to be something wrong with the autoconf script. Compiler is gcc 3.3.3 platform Alpha EV67 Linux. Any working solution for this ??? |

I've compiled it for 4 of my hosts (Mandrake and Gentoo) with some errors I was able to get past, but the other 3 won't compile because of errors I don't know how to get past. Newer versions of gcc and glibc seem to be causing more problems than the ones just a little bit older. Also, if you're trying the nightly sources, try a different night or two. My successful compiles were done with the June 24 source, but for instance, the June 25 source (or any since then for that matter) won't compile for me. If your errors are coming during the configure stage, it may simply be missing libraries that it needs. <a> |
