Thanks for the win Mike, and Rob,
I am so surprised I never win. But I guess I asked for it. As some of you know, I am planning on retiring down in old Mexico. I am taking some time to travel around starting next month. So the winner will be selected before I leave, even if the number is not reached.
Tally Ho... (is that the wrong country?). Let's try Hasta la vista, baby.

Now for the rules:
-------------

1. The winner of the last thread starts the new one with a post of these rules.
2. Chooses a future event which triggers the winner, e.g. post number, date-time, and records it privately somehow (yellow sticky, etc.)
3. Everyone has fun posting until the target event is reached.
4. When the target is reached, the old winner posts a declaration of the new winner and also PMs them.
5. Shortly after this a Mod will lock the recently won thread. (My preference is for the winner to ask the mods to lock the old thread after the new one is started.)
6. No double posts. Violators buy drinks or a meal for the house in Rocky's.
7. Additional rule retained from the last round - No posts that APPEAR to be blank - these will be ignored or deleted. (Sig lines do not count as part of a post)
8. No picture-only posts - not all pictures we link to show on everyone's computers & phones.
8a. Keep the number of pictures per post under 3 or less and/or make them tiny and links to full size.

Don't forget to have fun.

Congrats Carlos!

Well I certainly wasn't winning today as something is slipping in my spine and causing me sciatica hell.

We got off to a breezy and damp 4C (felt like 0C) here this morning and topped out at 7C (felt like -1C), that if you could call that an improvement.

Where also up to 32.25mm this month with just 19mm more to hit our usual monthly rainfall.

It's now down to 4C (feels like -3C) while a windy 0C is expected here in the morning with maybe some snow on the ground.

Cheers.

We're off to a windy 3C (feels like -3C) start with 9C expected so I'm not looking forward to going across the highway to the supermarket, but Dog and I need some supplies.

Cheers.

Hump Day got off to a breezy 3C (felt like -2C) with 9C being expected with a slim chance of a shower or 2 in the late afternoon.

Anyhow it's time for another coffee.

Cheers.

Well a windy 8C (felt like 2C) was the best that we could do here today while it's now -0 (feels like -3C) with -3C expected in the morning and if that breeze drops off we may even get our 2nd frost for the year finally.

Anyhow it's time to snuggle down with my book.

Cheers.

Living in a rented apartment means occasional hassle with your landlord, right? Nope. In my case, it's the tenant who lives above me who regularly comes by in the early evenings, today at 8:30 p.m., rings the doorbell, and immediately yells at me in an unreasonable manner, claiming we're too loud. Ugghh. This is a modern, five-story building, just a few years old. Spacious appartments, upscale. I live here, talk to the kids, and occasionally walk between rooms. No loud music. Some people are already alarmed by the chirping of crickets or hear earthworms crawling. Phew.... An old bitter lady? Nope, just about 35 years old....

Well the breeze did die overnight so Thorsday got off to a very frosty -3C (felt like -6C) with a not so windy 10C expected today on top of this ridge line.

During last Thorsday's frost preps I had something slip in my spine causing some pain, but at least it didn't slip enough to drop me to my knees, and then while replacing the exhaust fan in the bathroom with my head, arms and shoulders in the very small roof cavity I had yet another small slip occur, so I didn't get around to replacing the 1 in the brewroom, and both of those slips felt very grating so it maybe that 1 of my discs is finally gone completely. It also put me out of action again until yesterday so today I'll get around to finally replacing that other exhaust fan seeing as I feel up to moving several stacks of beer so that I can get at it.

Anyhow it's time for a 2nd coffee before I do that.

Cheers.

Haha.. that's really funny. I should prepare a translated version and pin a couple of copies at the announcement board in the lobby.

The curious thing is, I'm living in the 'apartment below', not those who complain. Strange.
