The wind is blowing something heavily outside. Sailing is questionable. Wind speeds are 33 knots gusting to 47 knots, force 7 gusting to force 9 on a scale of 1 to 12.
Getting micro power flickers every so often because of the wind.

Fair and Windy
70°F (21°C)
Humidity 21%
Wind Speed SW 33 G 47 mph
Barometer 29.36 in
Dewpoint 28°F (-2°C)
Visibility 10.00 mi

Edit: Just outside of the current fire evacuation area. Can smell the fresh smoke nearby.

Winning on a Saturday morning where it's 11C (feels like 10C) with 27C being our target for today.

Anyhow it's time for a coffee while waiting for that glow in the sky to begin.

Cheers.

Currently in South Fort Worth Texas at 16:54 local time weather guessers claims it's 80°F, wind from the West-SouthWest @ 15 gusting to 27 MPH, Relative Humidity 19% and RED FLAG WARNING (FIRE DANGER).

My bird feeder has flown the coop, off the Sheppard hook and isn't in my or my neighbor's yard. Neighbor several doors down trampoline is in the field behind our subdivision stuck in some shrubbery.

I'm just waiting for some more of this morning's heavy dew to go as I've got my BushRanger back in line trimming mode so that I can do all the edges around the whole yard today so that it's ready for mowing again tomorrow and it's now a steamy 18C (feels like 19C).

More rain is due here on Monday.

Cheers.

Take care. We have a high winds watch but thankfully no red flag warnings. Wind here is 20 mph with gusts to 35 mph. It's 50 to 65 mph in the mountain passes not far from me. Looks like we are all having wind issues.

Just having a quick cool down, spinal recovery and beer break here after getting 3/4's of all the edges done around the place as the temp hits 25C (feels like 23C).

I just have to hang out a load of washing on the line now before I finish the rest off.

Cheers.

Still here. Didn’t burn up or blow away. Not everyone was so lucky. A few residents lost everything to fire and a few semi trucks were blown on their sides.

Winning on a Sunday morning in the highlands where we've had our 1st single digit start for the year with a 9C (felt like 8C) start while 27C is expected.

We have another very heavy dew here this morning so it'll likely be a few hours before I start mowing the backyard, the front yard and laneway may have to wait until tomorrow.

Anyhow it's coffee time.

Cheers.

Windy but comfortable. Took a ride along the river earlier. Too windy now to be out now. Winter is trying to hand on there is snow with a few hundred feet of elevation from where I live.

After 105mins of stumbling behind the mower the backyard is done and so is my spine, at least there was only 3 catcher loads to empty this time.

I just hope that my legs work better tomorrow so that I can knock over the rest quickly before any rain turns up.

Meanwhile the temp is now at 24C (feels like 23C).

Anyhow it's time for a few beers.

Cheers.

It got to 26C (felt like 25C) today and it's now down to 17C heading towards an expected 13C.

Anyhow I think that I've had enough for the day.

Cheers.

We are at 40f /4c with howling Southwest winds 25 to 40 mph with gusts up to 65 mph. Not a good day to fly kites.

The boards are sluggish.

A very spring day. Grass, er weeds, are bright green, hills bare and earth brown from fire, sun through a lite haze, cool with just a hint of air movement, birds singing and building nests.

Winning on a Monday morning, but I'm not impressed as I've been up for a bit over 3 hours now and about to have my 3rd coffee for the morning when I should've just had my 1st.

It's 11C (feels like 10C) with 28C being our target for today before showers are expected to arrive around mid to late afternoon.

The mower is all juiced up again ready to finish the rest of the place off and I'm hoping that the dew won't be so heavy this morning so that I can get an early start, but I won't know about that until the sun comes up.

Anyhow I better get to this coffee before it cools off.

Cheers.
