We're in an ongoing heavy frost. All in a frigid chilly cold..

Even so, I'm enjoying the beauty of civilisation!

Brief...

We're now at 21C (feels like 19C) on top of this large ridge as we get a few splashes of sunshine between the clouds that don't look less threatening now.

Anyhow I'm just enjoying a lazy Sunday.

Cheers.

Due to our sunny start and bugger all rain of late I decided to mow at least the rear half of my backyard before I parked a trailer full of sand by my compost bays. Well I got almost all of it done in 90mins and with the mower dropped a notch in height, but I only got 4 catcher out of some pretty heavy going.

Anyhow I'm going to enjoy a few beers now.

Cheers.

I was just outside on the patio reading for a while.
That makes me jealous. We have permanent frost here. Not really cold but below freezing all the time.

We got to 25C (felt like 24C) here today before some of that wet stuff started to fall.

Well I've got a trip into town to do tomorrow to get a few things before heading out to the quarry for a load of sand. The only hassle will be those few stops that I have to make in the town itself finding parking spots with the trailer hooked up.

Anyhow I'll go back to thinking whether I'll have some dinner tonight or not.

Cheers.

I’m with you on that option Wiggo. I had a overly large lunch yesterday and skipped supper. Breakfast had rolled around and not sure if I want much if any. Fluids are a must.
Have a slight cold. Not hurting but more of the head is stuffed up and having to breathe through my mouth a bunch. Will be happy when my head finally clears up.

We are expecting a brisk winter day. The sun is up and it's 19f (-7c) but expected to warm to 40f. Looks like we will have dry weather all week with Friday being the warmest day. 50F

My corner of the upper left coast is 35F with moderate fog. MY ductless heat pump is frosting up quite often, that will stop when them temp gets up to 40.

Anyhow, back to my coffee.

Cheers.

I made it back from my trip into town and while I was in there I grabbed myself a KFC dinner box which I just devoured.

Now for a beer or 2 as the temp here hits 26C.

Cheers.

It's a little cool this morning. Sunrise is still an hour away. Currently, it is 21f (-6 c) with a high of 44f (6c) expected. There is just enough wind to make it feel cold. No clouds so it's a great time for star gazing. The full moon is also most set and the Milky Way is rising.

Posting as a glow begins in the east where it's 15C with a stinking 30C expected before more showers, rain and thunderstorms gather around so not much will be going on here today.

We got to 29C (felt like 28C) yesterday.

Anyhow I've got a coffee that needs drinking.

Cheers.

The glow in the sky was never much more than a lessening of the general dullness, but now we have a clear sky and the moon is clearly visible, which means the temperature will drop....

The smoke has made it to Reno. I am about 300 miles and behind several mountain ranges from the LA fires but the sky is filling with smoke. I had one friend down the hill whose fire alarm went off. I have my HEPA filters running.
