So much for a nice 21C with a gentle breeze today as the mercury here hits 25C (feels like 22C) with a wind.

Cheers.

Good luck Gary.

As the sun sets it's now down to 19C (feels like 17C) and not a drop of rain fell here today.

Cheers.

Good morning from the frozen Fort Worth Texas metroplex, it's 28° F and we're expecting anywhere from 1 to possibly 6 or even 8 inches of snow starting later tonight through tomorrow/Thursday.

The whole of the LA basin seems to be ablaze. My Mulholland Highway home is northwest of the Palisades fire. With current wind, it's still safe, but winds are known to change.
Gary, I hope yours is still ok.
This is the first time I have seen the fire department bulldozing cars off the road to make way for fire equipment.

Posting on a Thorsday morning where it's 13C (feels like 12C) with 24C expected.

Anyhow that glow in the sky should start soon and I better put the jug on.

Cheers.

certainly a deterrent to those who would thoughtlessly abandon cars in the way of fire trucks.

Over 200 people left their cars and started to run on foot because they were not moving and the fire was coming up at them on both sides. It's really bad down in the southland.

Now that the black cockatoos have finished with the morning squawking (usually a sure sign of rain) it's now a humid 19C (feels like 18C) as I'm about to go out and tend to my veggies seeing as we missed out on the action yesterday.

I may even get a couple of other things done while I'm out there.

Cheers.

We're now at a muggy 22C (feels like 19C) on this mostly cloudy morning as I enjoy my last coffee for the morning.

Well I annoyed Dog this morning after attending to my veggies as I fired up the air compressor which set her off followed by the sedan that made her kick into high gear then I moved the car up to the front of the shed to check its tyre pressures before turning it around to back it down the back of the backyard to hook the box trailer up and bring it up to the front of the shed so that its tyres could also be checked before I go and get half a cubic metre of washed river sand from in town next week.

Then with the trailer moved I could finally relocate that sheet of reo-mesh that has been laying in the middle of the backyard for the last week to being tied up against the side fence where it just may turn into a trellis for growing fruit and veggies up seeing as it failed to keep the climbing rose on top of Dog's shed it may do better at that job instead.

Anyhow my coffee is finished and LLB is now about 30-40mins away.

Cheers.

My house survived, and I'm okay. However the Eaton fire has been deadly. Still burning and more starting. Apocalyptic is the adjective. Paradise fire on steroids.

It's good to hear that you still have a roof over your head Gary.

We made it to 25C (felt like 23C) today, but as a few raindrops fall we're now down to 22C (feels like 19C),

Cheers.
