We made it to 26C (felt like 25C) here today and the rain and storms staid to the east of us.

Cheers.

Beautiful warm sunshine!

... And yet the locals are grumpy... Hard work or what?!!

It's a brisk 32f (2c) with a forecast high of 51f (10c) mostly sunny with light winds. Air pressure is falling, and we can expect snow in the mountains tomorrow.

Posting on a P.O.E.T.S. Day morning where it kicked off here at 13C (felt like 11C) with 22C expected while more dodgy weather is expected later on.

Anyhow it's coffee time.

Cheers.

Yuck!

Meanwhile...

We became enveloped in chilly wet goopy ground fog and a weird strata of wispy low flying mist.

And the grumpy ones stayed grumpy until I gave them a good grump. That did usefully wake them up!

Still exhausting working with shambling zombies. They seem to be sadly pining for the 'old ways' yet oblivious to the brighter new ways... Total resistance to any changes... Hey ho! See how this goes...

And so I've made my escape with a healthy walk to the one refuge with the good beer. Outside is deserted of people. Have they all starved or otherwise expired?...

I'm just tossing up on whether to turn my maniac BushRanger from a path edger back into a brushcutter so that I can attack parts of the yard that I havn't done yet that are too soggy to support the weight of my mower ATM, but I'll have another coffee while I further discuss this move with my spine as the temp rises to 18C (feels like 15C) and the clouds start to move back in.

Cheers.

After 90mins swing my maniac BushRanger about I've tamed the back laneway so that the mower can now easily handle it (when the ground out there firms up a lot) and knocked over the edges around the rear section of the backyard mine spine was crying out to stop and I was hoping that I'd run out of fuel, but instead running out of line saved both of us in the end.

Our mostly sunny start to the day has come to an end with barely the odd small patch of blue sky to be seen while the temp is now at 21C (feels like 19C) and I'm ready for a few beers before I go and wash this green stuff off of me.

Cheers.

All is dark and deserted save for...

A repair gang working on some broken electrics...

And walking further across site, we've already got some broken pipes... Have we had a frosty freeze up already??

Otherwise, things here sure are strangely dark and quiet. Where have all the people gone?...

We reached 22C (felt like 21C) here today before our 1st bit of rain and we're now back to 20C (feels like 18C) as more fast approaches.

The old back also feels better after a spinal reset.

Cheers.

Someone made a mistake. The forecast called for snow in the mountain passes starting about 11 today. I am just over 5,000 feet and woke to a winter wonderland outside. This is my pre-dawn view. Now the forecast is for snow here in Reno until mid-day.
Low -2 (c) high 2 (c)
Low 30f high 36f.

I'm glad I bought and installed heavy insulated curtains yesterday.

We have an Arctic Blast forecast...

In this dark foggy murk, we'll never see it coming until the fog freezes around us!

Posting on a sunny Saturday morning where after a 15C (felt like 13C) start we're at 18C (feels like 16C) on our way towards an expected 23C.

Cheers.

Cold damp drizzle and all is wet and dark.

No tendrils of ice... Yet.

I’m also guilty of bugicide today. My weapon was the big bottle of Head & Shoulders 2 in 1. It was terminated with prejudice in the bathtub.

It's cold and sunny today. The temperature is currently 24 degrees Fahrenheit, with a high of 41 degrees Fahrenheit forecast. I see a lot of ice but very little snow left.

Posting on a sunny Sunday morning where we got off to a 12C (felt like 10C) start with 24C being our target for today.

Seeing as no rain fell here yesterday I'll be taming my little front yard in a couple of hours time.

Anyhow it's time for a coffee.

Cheers.
