Winning on a Saturday morning in the highlands where the temp is 15C with a stinking 28C expected. It's time to turn the kettle on. Cheers. |

... And no planetary concerns??!!! Can we add seaweed to curries to at least mitigate against some of the greenhouse gas emissions?...! Meanwhile, I've made an early partial escape to: 1: Make it out before the worst of the storm; 2: Catch Last Orders (admittedly not at the best of the pubs); 3: Recover from trying to educate an old new operator on operating more than just the dumb rudimentary operations of some controls... So, sadly, we lost the expert operator recently. Hence the second operator has to take over, but has kept quiet about not knowing what the buttons do! Worse still, some of the buttons have an auto-repeat that is totally incompatible with slow fingering whilst trying to read an idiot's recipe!... I now understand why we always had to wait for the one expert... I'm going to have to allocate a lot of time to giving that training... This is very much not my normal work... However, this is essential to avoid silly expensive problems... And there's no one else qualified! Hey ho!! Hence, various jobs have spilled over into the morning... Beer helps! Was offline cause of some unknown problem with Spectrum, then less than 1/2 hour later I'm back online, go figure. My left arm is still hurting for some unknown raisin... Yesterday didn't help my arm any. |

I've cleared both of guru bays out and a 3rd new wicking tub is in its place outside and as it's now 25C (feels like 26C), but it's also 28C downstairs so I might leave doing anymore down there until later in the day when it cools down. The only place that I'll be going now is up the hill for a LLB and a feed that I don't have to cook as I want a break from sandwiches and I don't want to generate any heat in my 21C (feels like 18C) unit. Cheers. |

And my thought for the day... To misquote Einstein: Madness is repeating the same instructions to an operative and hoping for them to learn what to do for themselves... Hey ho? See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

Can we add seaweed to curries to at least mitigate against some of the greenhouse gas emissions?...! To late for the emissions reduction. Navy beans was cooked and eaten. The air quality report was TOXIC. |

I got a 4th new wicking tub ready for a soil/compost guru (that I still have to mix up) before getting in a few beers up at the pub and grabbing a small pizza (Dog was happy as she knows that she's getting the crusts with her dinner), taking a special pill and now I'm ready to grab my book and get horizontal for a spinal reset. Meanwhile temp here is now at a muggy 27C (feels like 26C) as clouds are building up yet again, but whether we'll get any rain is another story. Cheers. |

Can we add seaweed to curries to at least mitigate against some of the greenhouse gas emissions?...! That's a great idea, but of any value when my nephew's curry of choice is a lentil vindaloo with extra chillies and a red-hot chilli pickle. I suspect the main cause of his noxious gaseous emissions is the added chilli pickle. For anyone who wishes to experience the same chilli blast, but as a sauce not pickle: https://bumblees.co.uk/product/naga-burn-chilli-sauce/ (I'm not sure if they ship outside the UK.....) Winning on a Sunday morning where it's 19C (feels like 20C) with 28C expected again, but we're about to get hit by a blob of rain and storms. Anyhow I better get a coffee before I have to start closing some windows. [edit] And down it comes. Cheers. |

FedEx didn't deliver my pkg at my home, they left the package at the local Post Office, it's a smart post package. In other news I'm in the Hospital ER, my arm and lower back are bothering me. Hopefully it's nothing serious. |

Good luck Vic. Well I finally finished all those wicking tubs and they have all been deployed, but I'll let all 7 (there was 1 upgraded version) settle down for a week as they may need a bit more topping up before I send the seeds in. We also reached a steamy 27C here before these clouds started to quickly build up and the wind arrived. Anyhow it's time to enjoy a relaxing LLB while keeping a watch on these developing storms. Cheers. |

... Yes... Well... I too like my food to be spicy hot upon occasion... But not tooo spicy hot... I do like to be able to taste the food also!! And so the worst of the storm has blown over. No idea if this is merely a tease of a temporary lull?... Overall, nothing much other than a bit of greenery getting bashed about. There were ofcourse the expected spectacle of bits of flat roofing flying around... However... The weather is a too good an excuse for a delayed delivery of some essential parts that are really needed Monday. Here's hoping we get them at least on Tuesday...
