After doing a dew domestic things inside the temp outside is up to 26C (feels like 23C) as a thin cover of cloud sets in, but ATM I can't see any of that expected rain in it, yet, while the temp inside is now at 22C (feels like 20).

Anyhow I guess that I should think about changing out of my "bum around the house" gear and get into my "bum around in public" stuff so that I can carry out my alternative plans for the day.

Posting while waiting for Saturday and my tire to get here via FedEx, Sunday I get to try and cook up breakfast with some eggs.
Lovely.

Monday drive into town to go to the bank which is closed on Sunday and closes at 2pm on Saturday and go shopping for food.

What I need is a spare tire so I could swap the flat for the spare so I could fix the flat, sigh.

A Saturn 15x6" wheel and 185/55r15 or 185/60r15 in a non-directional tire would do. I already have a wheel, but the Saturn 4x100 wheel fits, the bore is 56.6 and the backspacing is about 38-48, mine does 38-45. My neighbor has had a Saturn so I may text him.

I really don't like FedEx's AI all that much.

My 3 cats are being quiet, speak of the devil and Sylvester pops up, Chitty can't be far behind.

For a good long walk to a good live band and a rum porter or two...

And I can enjoy a healthy half-shift as my relief turns up to try his skills at keeping the remains of this ship afloat...

The Food Desert remains the same, the site is slowly getting tidied up with a hope of getting streamlined... And there's fewer people.

A progress review is getting more likely this side of Christmas rather than after... Not sure if that's going to be good or bad in whatever ways...

Regardless, we're well into the cold dark wet weather. Which doesn't help.

Well enjoying a few lager homies here after having a shower after spending 2.5hrs pushing the old mower around the whole backyard and getting another 13 catcher loads of grass and weeds, the mower was running on fumes at the end as the tank was dry.

After a 10C (felt like 8C) start here we're now up to 25C on our way to an expected 28C.

Anyhow back to my homies before I have a spinal reset, though I'm also tossing up whether to have a bite to eat in between or not.

Meanwhile in Dexter's Labratory, the delivery of a tire is awaited on Saturday and if a neighbor can find his Saturn spare tire and put it on my car and put my flat tire in the back seat with the "new" tire, then I can get the car worked on by Walmart, after that I think I might go shopping for food @ Staters Bros Market in Barstow CA.

Plus cash in some pre-bagged bottles, of course making a deposit might have to wait until Monday since the Bank closes at 2pm on Saturday.

That was a busy week. Part pf my time was in CA and now I'm back in NV. Brisk 28f with a high of 60f expected.

I'm being kept warm by a furnace and a cat.

Sylvester discovered the new bathroom vanity and the that the faucet there was on and took a drink, he approves of the new rear bathroom vanity.

My tire is out for delivery, yay!

Last night I emptied the clothes dryer.

I also made a list of what needs to be done to refurbish my home on my homebuilt pc, though I didn't "go hog wild".

I need to print and fill out a USDA rural senior grant request asap, CA is under a pilot program for up to $10,000 for health and safety repairs.

I would like to talk first before proceeding beyond any forms being printed, like who administers the grant or loan?

For rural repairs and upgrades they have a $40,000 loan, $50,000 is the max amount between the grant and the loan.

Posting on a Sunday morning as sunrise approaches with the temp at 15C, while 26C is expected along with some wet weather a little later on and my 2nd coffee for the morning is at hand.

FedEx came by and dropped my tire off, I inspected the tire and it looks good,
now I need my neighbor who has his phone shutoff, he does that all the time.

Then I can go to Walmart and get the tire put on and go shopping for food,
if I have to I can call AAA, but they would need to pump my tire up here and at Walmart.
My rear wheel well can use a 195/55r15 tire, so 185/60r15 is ok there.

After a mostly cloudy day we could only manage 24C before copping the edge of a very severe thunderstorm, but we're now down to 19C (feels like 18C) with 14C expected in the morning.

Other than doing a few lite domestic duties I spent a relaxing Sunday catching up on some streaming while giving my spine a chance to recover from yesterday, though unless I come up with something to do inside for the next several days my spine will get longer to recover.

Anyhow back to what I'm currently watch.

Well my neighbor is off to get my car tire either patched or replaced, the tire had a 6" long nail in the tread, sorry no pic I didn't think of that, so either way I have a tire for a spare, I think do at least.

The nail that was in my tire, it's a 5" nail, fooled me, I thought it was 6", but the tire is replaced, the hole was too close to the sidewall.

We reached 25C (felt like 26C) here today before over 1.5" got dumped on us and we're now down to 16C (feels like 15C) as another big storm is about to hit and I lose my internet again.
