I waited for hours; convinced someone will post something before the game is over. Nope.

So again, Congratulations Vic!

... and my condolences to the Englishmen among us. The Spaniards were unbeatable this year. They also kicked the German team out last week... as well as the French days later. That's how it is.

We got 86f and thunder storms. It stopped the Big Boy. Rain damaged the track.

It's 6C (feels like 1C) here while snow flurries are being reported within an hour's drive south now.

Cheers.

We made it to 9C (felt like 2C) here today with -1C expected in the morning with possible showers, sleet or snow.

Cheers.

My wireless mouse went RED dead, I opened the mouse up and took out the batteries, one alkaline Duracell had some white chips on one end and so that battery is now DEAD
You better listen to the ads. Duracell is only for bunnies. That's what makes them jump the longest.

Oh, I just learned, the pink Duracell bunnies are used worldwide except for the US, Canada and Turkey. It is a pity.

... And that 'copper coloured head' was debunked long ago as an advertising scam...

The 'new' alkaline batteries of the day all came out of the same factory, with identical manufacturing, only for the outer case to get printed with different branding...

More power for yer bucks(*) for those that new!

And Congrats to Vic!

Enjoy!!

*: Ok... So a double pun on buck [converter] for a type of electronic circuit and for USA money exchange... :-p

I just come inside after cleaning and refilling Dog's water bowls and I won't be going out again anytime soon (at least until Dog's dinnertime) as we're now at 3C (still feels like -4C) and even Dog didn't want to get out of her nice warm bed in her shed.

I also reckon that if we do get any showers here today in this icy cold gale it could come down as sleet instead of something soft, cold and wet.

Cheers.

I'm in for the night too. But we have the occasional thundershower. I am getting a nice cool breeze right now. Officially it's 80f but where I am it's feeling like the low 70's.

We have another rainy day and it will be like that until the weekend. At least temperature will reach 26C/79F. Such a rainy and not so hot summer is a relief from the many dry ones in the recent decade.

We reached a very windy 6C (felt like -3C) here today with a little bit of sleet thrown in for good measure, but it's now down to 3C (feels like -2C).

Meanwhile inside it's now a nice 19C, but I had to close the bathroom off this morning as the air column heater was really struggling with it open to keep it above 16C (and I wasn't about to turn the thermostat up).

Anyhow it's time to think about what to watch tonight and maybe some dinner as that wind continues to howl outside.

Cheers.

Winning on a damp and misty Hump Day morning that got off to a 2C (felt like -2C) start here while 6C is again expected.

Anyhow it must be time for a coffee now that I'm back inside.

Cheers,

Improving to chilly humid wet...

Are we in some sort of meteorological resonance with Wiggo?!
