85F on the way to 89, much better than yesterday's 98. The AC continues to keep the house at 73, that's quite comfy. The cool down should continue thru Fri.

We got off to a foggy and frosty 0C (felt like -2C) start here while 15C is expected and we can enjoy 1 more fine day tomorrow before we get hit with another antarctic blast on the weekend which is expected to last until the following weekend.

Anyhow it's time for another coffee.

Cheers.

We reached 15C (felt like 13C) here today and that is slowly dropping now as we enjoy the last hour of daylight.

Cheers.

Well as a P.O.E.T.S. Day LLB fast approaches it's now 13C (feels like 10C) here so our expected max of 14C is well within range.

Anyhow I better gather myself together for a wander 3 doors up the hill (I can roll back).

Cheers.

Winning on a chilly Saturday morning here on top of the range,

That antarctic blast arrives here today and a windy 9C is all that's expected today.

Anyhow it's coffee time.

Cheers.

It is a cool summer‘s day here. We will hardly reach 21C, 70F in the early afternoon. It is completely overcast, no sunshine today. Yesterday we had a heavy thunderstorm, more of a powerful warm front with lightning and lots of rain lasting a full hour.

Looking at average numbers for the whole country, in the last 12 months we had the highest precipitation on a anullar average on records (since ~150 years).

Well I managed a few hours with the bandage and dressing off my hand, that is until I had a decent shower where the stitch holes started to leak again so I had to put a new dressing back on it. I still have another 6 days before these stitches come out, but at least today it didn't look as bad when the original bandage and dressing went on on Wednesday.

Anyhow we reached 10C (felt like 5C) here today and tomorrow there's a chance for some of the hills around here to have snow on them, and maybe even here, over the next few days.

Cheers.

I slept in my own bed last night. Hotels are fine but something about being home. Currently 73f and it's expected to hit 99f. It rained last night and thought not in the forecast I see a lot of dark clouds.

... Well, that was fun!

And lo! The new pipework works very well. Very well indeed...

So... Why did we not do those fixes months ago!!???...

Whilst repressurizing the system, I was reminded of all the new joints and fixings and adapters festooned in the enclosure, and that my face was only an arms length away from the valve controlling that repressurization...

Cue the various dramatic cinematic scenes from various old war movies of a submarine crew desperately trying to stem the lances of water from the dark depths on the other side of their leaking creaking hull from flooding them into a cold oblivion.

I did happen to be wearing safety glasses and gloves...

Meanwhile, various other jobs/tasks have spilled over into the weekend...

And we have a big meeting on Monday to be ready for!

So much for my plans for an easy weekend of reading and planning and submitting a big order so as to get ahead during the quiet period...

All good fun!

Fixing bits of sloppiness, 1m3 at a time...

... Ya cannae cure all the slop all in one go!...

All counterpointed into sharp relief for enjoying the good efficient thoroughness and beauty of other areas that have been thoughtfully done well!!

Well I just came in from outside where it's a lightly frosted 0C (feels like -2C), though there's still 30mins to go for that frost to improve some,

Anyhow it must be time for another coffee before that sun breaks over the horizon.

Cheers.
