Well the rain hasn't made it this far as yet, but we did reach 15C (felt like 11C) here today just as it clouded over.

Anyhow I think it's now time to prepare for tomorrow.

Cheers.

Winning on a blowy Sunday morning in the highlands.

Well that rain is on the radars now, it's just a day late in getting here.

Time for a coffee.

Cheers.

I fixed my bike's tires before lunch. Used rear tire off and swapped as front one. I took the time to scrape out the old, cheap self-adhesive rim tapes that they put on in bike repair shop; annoying glue crumbs. I replaced them with fitting high-pressure rim tapes from Continental, good stuff. Finally a new tire for the rear wheel; Specialized RoadSport, fits perfectly and mounts really well. First-class tire.

After lunch we picked up our daughter by car from a small village near the Polish border; she went there for a school friend's birthday party yesterday.

Then we drove half an hour to the lake district in the North of neighboring Saxony. All the lakes are leftovers from a century of lignite mining in open-cast mines. Sunshine, 30°C/86F, a few clouds at a weekend means: crowded beaches. Telling from car's license plates, a third of them came from Poland. So, we chilled on the beach with our kids all afternoon into the evening. The water was already fairly warm for the early summer... 20°C/68F, You could jump right in without fearing a cold shock.

I have 2 Goodyear Integrity 185/55r15 82T tires and 3 rims to get installed in July with a 3rd Goodyear tire to buy and get installed, 1 rim is for a spare tire, the 4th and last Goodyear and a 175/50r15 spare will be bought and installed in August on 6.0" wide rims, the stock 6.5" wide rear rims will be discarded since they don't fit up front.

I can`t remember a june with that much rain.
At least my birthday was dry.

Happy belated Birthday Mike.

I found out the distance from home to the land for my future location for my home, it is 3.1 miles away from home, not bad.

I had to go to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription, and before going home I bought some food, all of it gluten free, though on one I'll need to eat some lactose pills.

Temp outside is 104F & Sunny, earlier when I left home the temp was 99, inside the temp is 80.

Everything is going as I have planned.

We had some thunder and lightning without storm in the early morning hours followed by some rain. Then it was a beautiful warm summer day to enjoy.

Finding a manufactured home mover is tough, one that I called I found out is in Florida and is too far away, the search goes on, just for a 3.1 mile move.

The business should also do "tear down and setup" and could cost from $3,000 to $8,000.

Minus the cost of the land and a building permit from the county planning department.

When I went to go shopping I noticed one tenant was actively moving out, either cause of the rent increase or something else.

Well I just spent the last 2.5hrs brushing the carrots that I harvested the other day and it turned out to be 5.2kg worth.

I might honey bake 250gms worth of tiny tots for lunch, after I've enjoyed a beer or 2 first.

Cheers.

And I just learned the property that I'm interested in is a Probate Sale.

I need a credit score of at least 680 to do so.

Maybe I should talk to Capital One this week, I have an account with them, funding can be from $5,000.00 to $100,000.00 and is not income dependent from what I read.

My home could be used as a down payment or collateral, but I need to get the plumbing and the floor repairs done, exterior paint too in white with light blue for the trim.

Thanks Carlos and Vic.
Mine was on 20th.
For me a real birthday after my heart surgery.

Belated happy birthday to your son Carlos.
22 is pretty young.
