Some late sunshine got the mercury here to 11C (felt like 9C) and we should have a day or 2 now without any rain.

Cheers.

Meanwhile, under a damp grey overcast over here.

The bright beautiful warm sunshine has been far left behind!

And working through my second pint of coffee. The locals here are being very slow about things...

Winning on yet another frosty Monday morning.

We got off to a -2C (felt like -6C) start today while 14C is expected.

Cheers.

After a slow start the locals eventually came to life and a useful day has been had. Even the initial stern talking-to has worked well to make the later prompting much easier...

We'll see what the new day brings!

Aside: Even the sunshine shone for a beautiful evening with a warm and relaxing air.

Also, was in a very interesting discussion with an international lawyer onsite... There are quite a difficult mix of "different ways" of things across the world! Very glad I kept well away from the lawyering stuff!!

Definitely winning after filling the garbage bin yet again with more prunings before having a few beers and a feed up at the pub.

We've done well here today reaching 15C (feels like 12C).

Cheers.

Just don't touch some metals or you could get burned.
Hah... There are stainless steel slides everywhere at our playgrounds in Germany. On the rare hot days, kids can't use them until later in the afternoon. I've seen that in Australia they are made of concrete instead, with a particularly smooth, polished surface. Funny...

We had metal slides as kids too. The solution was bottles of water to cool them down. Besides getting wet while sliding down added to the fun. We invited water slides!

I'd say as I've yet to see 1 of those.

Anyhow Monday has now become Tuesday here so it's time to get a few hours in.

Cheers.

I did have plans for this morning after I went to go and get Dog food, but I stepped out into a heavy misty drizzle so carrot harvesting and sorting out another sun shade will have to wait, though I did get most of my usual Monday morning caught up with.

Anyhow I may as well get an extra morning coffee instead as I don't want to go playing around in extra cold water rinsing out beer bottles ATM.

Cheers.

I just discovered that one of the trees at work is a cherry tree. I picked about 2 lbs when I left today.

Wiggo. I thought that we had a screwed up power grid get rich by robbing the consumers plan. But this is TOTAL BS. Makes one want to go off grid.
Home owners to be charged for feeding solar power into the grid.

That was just a bit of right wing fossil fuel B.S. that didn't make the headlines anywhere else in the end.

But in 2 more years batteries will be installed here so that I can be free of the grid if I want.

Cheers.
