Went to Sam’s Club and did some shopping. Then stopped at the food court. The fizzy drink and beef hotdog was okay. Should not of had the pizza slice. Paying the price for that.

I didn't know Sam's club served those. I go to Costco for the $1.50 hot dog and soda.

46 with a forecast high of 80. It's a holiday, Juneteenth. But I think I will work anyway.
But happy Juneteenth to any who celebrate it.

It was raining for many hours today. Tomorrow we hopefully will reach 24C/75F, eventually some sunshine.

Winning on a cool Thorsday morning as showers attempt to climb these heights.

Still suffering a few annoying aches and strains from my Orangutan impersonation whilst 'fixing' some 'difficult' pipework at extreme arm's length... Feels like my left forearm has been stretched... Ouch!

Muscle relaxant and convivial company needed...

And here's hoping for sunshine for a good solstice later today (20/06/2024 20:51 UTC, 21:51 BST)! Yay!!

Enjoy!!!

We got off to a cloudy -0C (felt like -3C) start here today and we're now at a still cloudy 9C (feels like 7C) with just 10C and showers expected.

Cheers.

I had a day off today, but then again I can have any day off as I feel like.

Anyhow a big LLB was had today (the people just kept on walking in) followed by a feed and now I reckon that a spinal reset is in order seeing as Dog has also just been fed.

Cheers.

The temp here actually made it to 11C (felt like 7C) on this drizzly winter's day and after a dip down to 8C (felt like 6C) it's back up to 9C (still feels like 6C) as drizzle falls again.

Cheers.

Anyhow it must be time for another coffee.

Cheers.

The local air quality district reached out to me to offer me a heat pump if I agreed to take out my wood stove. Hard to believe that even with a six-figure salary I still qualify for the program. Money's just not what it used to be.

With the help of some unexpected sunshine the mercury here has reached 13C (feels like 10C) as I start to think about lunch.

Cheers.
