Back in autumn here too. Drizzle, completely cloudy (14°C/57F). We will reach 17°C/63F in the afternoon. Next week we'll have at least three days exceeding 20°C/68F. After that it looks like autumn again.

We got off to a very frosty -3C (felt like -6C) start and reached 14C (felt like 11C), but as the glow from that big light quickly fades away it's now down to 9C (feels like 6C) while -1C is expected in the morning.

Anyhow it's been yet another very long day for me again so I'm going to test out that new pillow for a while. ;-)

Cheers.

I acted proactively to avoid public humiliation. It didn't work.

We have a dark dire harbinger of a deluge soon to come...

And where'd the time go?!!!

Lots yet to do!

Early on this P.O.E.T.S. Day morning it's -0C (feels like -3C) on top of this mountain range.

I might have another coffee.

Cheers.

As the sun rose here it was -2C (felt like -5C) so it may take 2-3hrs before it's warm enough outside to finish cleaning up the mess that I made out there yesterday.

Time for a coffee now.

Cheers.

It finally got warm enough to venture outside to go to the chemist to get my drugs and the supermarket for milk so I can get 1 more coffee in before going back out there to clean that mess up.

The temp here is now up to an overcast 12C (feels like 10C) with 14C being expected, at least it's 25C inside as Robbie the Robot idles away.

Now for that coffee.

Cheers.

I now have a bit more of my 120v to 240v home EV charging cable completed, I have not made any progress on the m-m 14-50 adapter.
5-20(Black) to TT-30(Green) to 14-50(Blue). Next is buying the 25' 14-50 cable, why am I doing this?
How do you choose the two sockets where the adapter can be plugged in, which must have opposite phase positions of -120V and +120V in order to get 240V between them? If you accidentally take two sockets with same phase then... what exactly? Will there only be 120V then or even just ZERO volts between two live pins which (by chance) are connected to the same phase? That is same single live wire from your electrical house connection?

Btw. What does "14-50", "5-20" mean? Some wire standard and amperage? In (continental) Europe you only have the cross section of conductors in square millimeters [mm²] which is printed each ~5 centimeters along flexible cables, not the amperage. What is "TT-30"?
