No news about Wiggo. But I did like the musical interlude.

They found a few of these, 2 orbiting each other, and 1 orbiting a white dwarf star, yes this is a brown dwarf star...

What a crazy day trip!

So that was three days wiped out and a dodgy stomach for the sake of a short onsite meeting in the food desert... Ok, so there was half a day of debrief also.

And so... The news is very good for the short term results. We've a worrying outlier longer term that is being chased up, hopefully not a killer. Hopefully, all good enough, especially after all the effort that has gone into reshaping operations there.

So, good enough for installing some new equipment!

... Even when one panel of that equipment is twice the price of the modern stuff for the sake of going 'retro' due to requiring levers and analog control knobs to interface into the existing workings! Surely... A few digital encoders/converters as a bolt-on to interface to the new electronics don't cost that much?!... (For that thing, I'm also very relieved and reassured that there is no network connection either!... Or is that why it's more expensive?...)

So... All useful, and my interpretation skills were indeed very much needed at the meeting. Also, quite some coordination was needed to make it all happen!

Now back in Civilization and back with a poorly stomach again! How? Why? For just one day!!

Next suspicions is something about the canteen over there, or the bread, or the water even? Or just a totally disrupted routine??

Hey ho!

And...

Cue a posting from Wiggo?

(Hope he's shown those Triffids who is still Boss?!)

Hopefully Wiggo is enjoying a good fun holiday in the sun!

And just a day later and my stomach s fine oncemore. Quite a curious contrast...

And busy, busy, busy racing up to a deadline...

Wheeee... How time flies?...

Deadline met...

Even better, the rest of the team finished off their bits just in the nick of time!

Hopefully all for a good result.

And I've been sat hammering away at a keyboard for far too unhealthy long...

All to be made healthy again tomorrow deliberately away from the computers stuff!

Then again... There's some new parts orders to chase up... Ooops... That's likely one for the Friday rush...

All good fun!

And we'll have to guess that Wiggo is laughing and dancing in the sun!

I went and got the mail today, too late to call, sent a message to my Doctor for an in person appointment.

In May I really need to replace this phone, as it has expanded some again in one corner, there goes $211.02 in May, hopefully the price doesn't go up then and hopefully this time the phone gets sent to me, yes it's the same make and model without a damaged battery as that is what I need.

In June I get to buy 2 15"x6" Spark EV front rims and 4 TPMS valve stem Sensors, the stems I have now don't have the reporting hardware to tell the car what the tire air pressure is $233.59, the stems went down by $1.29 total.

The ACP funding bill is getting more cosponsors, and is up to 209 in the House, the identical Senate version has only 3 by comparison, both are bipartisan bills too, it's worth $30 a month off of a persons internet bill, that's all I'll say on that.

Of course I got a jury summons, seems like my last permanent excusal is not so permanent. So I need to call them on Thursday and ask like I did before, it's not like I can drive to Victorville CA with certainty, from Lenwood to Victorville Chevrolet is 29.8 miles, from Lenwood to my home is 16.8 miles, my credit card is not here yet and until AAA's membership is paid up in full at $90 I have no towing.

I also have a Nurse coming out here on Thursday, I had to fit the nurse into my so busy schedule. LOL! Still no luck on the trulicity...

Today I turned the furnace off and the window a/c on as the high was 78F outside today with 80 predicted for the next 2 days, then back to more cooler temps in the 60's and low 70's until the 29th.

Also I should hopefully be able to drive to the dealer and see if my battery needs replacing or not, the warranty in California on the EV battery is 10 years, elsewhere 8 years, if they say my EV battery can be replaced under warranty, then I have a few part numbers for them since last time I called they came up empty, 2 are for the LG Chem and one is I think an LFP battery from a 2014, 2014 weighs maybe 100lbs more and is 21.4kWh instead of 19.4kWh, but that should not be a big deal as the car was designed with the heavier battery, it was only cause A123 went bankrupt that GM switched top LG Chem, the Bolt in 2024 or 2025 is going LFP in their Ultium battery... Buying Me out would be over $9500 currently, it used to be about $9800.

Thanks...

So... After the rush... Enjoying a moment of being unhassled.

Here there is subdued mild sunshine, only a few calls and one schedule change, and a good pause for clearing up the workspace. Most of the others have cleared off early.

Dare I chase up to see how the food desert gang are doing?... I think that one is for later. Don't want to spoil the schedule here!

All good fun :-)

And the beautiful springtime weather helps. Definitely feeling the benefit of falling over the Equinox!

80F predicted for Thursday, 79 for Friedday, 66 for Saturday.

Jury summons, excused. Lack of transportation.

The Nurse will be here around noon.

Now it's been 7 days, so it's "where oh where has Wiggo gone, oh where oh where can he be?"

After somewhat of a rush for the morning, I've been able to enjoy a good catch-up relatively undisturbed for the afternoon. Just the one extended meeting but otherwise, the rest of the world seems to be enjoying an early Friday escape into the springtime sunshine!

... Which comes to... Sheesh there's a lot of clearing up to do from this week! All of admin, orders, and actually doing a clearup...

I've had some surprisingly good feedback from the report from earlier this week. Hopefully, from that we get equally good results...

And now comes a good brew!

And... My stomach is perfectly fine. I do wonder if it's the complete lack of fruit, and the excess of ultra-processed foods + dubious additives, that is suffered over in the food desert. Unfortunately, that gets tested again... Next week...

And, and... How BIG is that "Where's Wiggo" wanted (alive) poster?
