Posting on another overcast morning morning in the highlands as I wait for the kettle to boil. Cheers. |

Pondering what to have for supper. I have a few chicken breast quarters I have to debone. Thinking possibly a chicken curry over rice or noodle soup. ![]() ![]() |

After a 14C (felt like 13C) start here we're now at 21C (feels like 18C) while 23C is expected, along with the usual threats of rain and storms (that have yet to turn up). Once I finished in the brewroom I went next door to get a few bits and now I have a short hose fitted to both my IBC's so that I can fill my watering can from either now without having to move fittings around. Anyhow it's time for a couple of beers while I decide what to do next. Cheers. |

Less than a hour until sunshine starts. Frostville here. Rain predictions are for Thorsday night at 80%. ![]() ![]() |

I think the sun is up but we have dense fog. I can't even see the end of my driveway. |

No sun, and lots of wet... And we have some flooding onsite. More significantly: I'm back on my more usual site with a chance to enjoy some better civilization and good food again! I hope our feral fiends are somewhere warm and dry. ... Some other poor sod is doing duty over elsewhere for a few days, yay! (He had quite a crash course update for that environment... Hope he's got enough patience for humoring the people along there... Mmmm...) See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

No sun, and lots of wet... And we have some flooding onsite. I'm so glad that I live on the top of a hill, but the way it's raining I may well be living on an island before long. Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

We kicked off here at 12C (felt like 10C) and now that the veggies have been watered, the coolant and oil checked in the old girl as well as a load of washing on we're at 18C (feels like 15C) with 26C being expected for today and maybe we'll get lucky like yesterday and I won't have to water the veggies again this afternoon (we got 2.25mm off the fringe of a storm cell yesterday arvo). Anyhow it's time for another coffee before I decide my next move. Cheers. |

Yep, it's soggy out there and I've got one wet foot... And there's a few large logs that have floated across to various unexpected places... There's also going to be a fair few grumpy farmers... "grumpy" and "farmer"? Well, that's a new one!!! I've rarely met a farmer that wasn't grumpy at some time or another (or even most of the time). Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

Our they like ours that they complain when there's not enough rain and complain when there's too much? Thorsday got off to a 13C start here with 29C being expected and as soon as I have my 1st coffee I better give my veggies a bit more water to cope and we may get a bit of rain later in the afternoon or evening. Then there's a funeral I have to attend later this morning. :-( Anyhow the jug is about to boil. Cheers. |
