The sun is heading to other places, the sky is clear thus it's going to be a somewhat colder night. Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

Don't blow it all at once?... Beware the temptation of a new latest super graphics card...? And we have a kinky jet stream pushing a clear cold vortex over our way from the arctic. After a beers break and deconstructing 2 of my original wicking tubs for upgrading the temp here is now at a muggy 26C (feels like 24C). Time for some actual lunch now. ;-) [edit] Instead I might get a spinal reset in instead seeing as all 4 of those old twin jet Hueys have departed that were parked on the oval. They must of been taking a long Sunday lunch break down there. Cheers. |

Easy money. Now what else to drive next? I know it sucks to be without transportation. Directions to where I was living included turn off the paved road. ![]() ![]() |

November is the wetest month in the Pacific Northwest, I'm used to it. |

Some rain would be nice as we're set for another summery 28C again today (we actually made it to 29C yesterday), but we may get some before the weekend gets here. Thankfully ATM we have someone else's fog burning off above us so we're still at our starting temp of 13C (feels like 11C) here. Anyhow it's time for 2nd coffee. Cheers. |

Looks like we get a break between storms for a dash across the mud. With various disruptions for this week, I'm going to have to set priorities where the impossible gets pushed into next week... Lots to do! (At least the "lots to do" undoes some of the chilly dampness we're suffering here... Must do something about the excess of cold concrete...) Just taking another quick cool down break after getting another load of washing out on the line along with line trimming and cutting edges around the backyard, but this time I'll have a quick beer before I head back out there. I don't know if I'll get all the edges done today as the temp here is already up to a muggy 24C (feels like 22C). Anyhow my beer is not getting any cooler. ;-) Cheers. |

looking ore like El Niño is going to send an atmospheric river our way. Just what is needed with a destroyed major artery. |

We're certainly feeling that El Niño here today as I went on pause again a little while ago when the temp was at 27C (felt like 25C) and the mercury here has just hit the 28C mark so another 29C day is again possible. Anyhow now that I've finished sorting a pile of books out while cooling down again so I'm ready for something a little more moreish than a beer while I wait for that sun to get further westwards before I attempt to finish all those edges before I pull out the mower again tomorrow (hoping that I'll beat any rain that makes it here). Cheers. |

I finally got the all the edges around the yard done just as the sun set so it's ready now for mowing and after a shower to wash the dust and sweat off I pulled my big old box fan to replace the desk fan as more cool air needs to be sucked in tonight (though I did forget how loud it is just on low, but it kills the desk fan's best efforts). Not much on the free to air tonight so I reckon that it'll be an early night instead. Cheers. |
