All is very soggy, outside and in! So far... We've had two O-rings fail during testing with water. I'm fully expecting a third to fail. How can fitters get O-rings 'wrong'?! All as we descend into a no-good game of procrastination and squirming and denial... The 'articulate' claims look to have been far too shallow for the reality of getting something working at all, let alone working well!... Hey-ho, this is all piling up onto Friday... Ah, today..... The ice from this morning's frost is still on neighbour's rooftop bird swimming pool (actually a poorly done flat rood that is threatening to join them in their kitchen). There's a bit of cloud around so it might not be as cold as last night, but the weather will do what the weather will do. Winning on a Thorsday morning in the highlands where it's 14C and sometime overnight the experts have changed our expected max down to 31C from 33C, but usually these last minute changes don't work out. Cheers. |

We reached 33C here again today before a couple of storms passed over us, at least I didn't have to water the veggies this afternoon. Sadly this heat will hang around for a while and I have a couple of jobs to do that involve producing more heat which I'm not looking forward too. Anyhow it's time to call it a day. Cheers. |

Under a very soggy wet gloaming... Some hardy sheets of ice linger on... For not too much longer... And very curiously, we have a multitude of perfectly uniformly formed disks of ice, about the size and thickness of coffee cup coasters. They're spread all across a courtyard... Very curious... Winning on a sunny Saturday morning where we kicked off here at 14C with 33C again expected, we reached 32C (felt like 30C) yesterday. Anyhow it's time to put the jug on. Cheers. |

Dancing through high winds and rain... And the 'articulate one' and his assistant have proven themselves to be completely out of their depth and have been marched offsite. I should have been suspicious way earlier when they were calling O-rings "rubbers" with a silly childish giggle. They also appear to have no concept of valves or fluid pressure or anything of testing. Bolts and fixings supposedly are "discretionary" and at best "occasional"... Incredible!! Sadly, more time has to be wasted yet to clear up after them and to get rid of them... Unbelievable stupidity masked by a multitude of lies... I'm tempted to nick-name them "Trump and Santos"... (And Nick-name... Is that from some connotation of Old Nick?...) See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

Well I've just finished getting a load of towels washed and out on the line as well as picking 1 huge spring onion along with 2 huge shallots for a cook up that must be done tonight. Again we got off to an overly warm 15C and we're now at 26C (feels like 24C) on our way to 29C. Hopefully we'll get that promised 11C, and I can get the temp right down in the brewroom, as I have a brew that must be bottled. Anyhow it's time for a couple of beers while the pop up servo down on the oval does big business. Cheers. |

Well I got the charger cable installed with the help of a local friend. I thanked him, I just supplied some stuff and watched. The screws used are #10 2.5", plus a few cable clamps. Under Construction... The beginning of the 120v 20amp circuit, it's just one outlet powering 50' of 12-2 led-lit 20amp cord, two duplex outlet circuits are next to each other. The black cord comes out from behind my desk, then goes across my home to the front and turns left to the door. Look for the Orange Dot(Center, upper right), that is the end of the 50' cord, next comes a 14-3 appliance cord under my front door, then the short Nema 5-15 to 14-50 adapter, then the charging cable. Outside all I had to do once it was plugged in was go adjust a setting from 8amps to 12amps, plus I adjusted the clock, and connected my phone via Bluetooth to the car. I think I am the first to have installed a dedicated EV charger in the park. This LED is important, 1st it was Orange as it established a connection, now It's Green. At 6:00 am PST the car says my degraded battery will be done charging by then, I'm done and I've got to watch where I put my right knee as it keeps hitting the dash... The car started charging at 5:51pm @ 120v, 240v is months away, I do have a 30amp 240v Breaker. the car says when I'm not using the car to leave it plugged in to power so that it will be ready. An electrician said I could not charge my car here, this debunks that. I also put a drop of Fractionated pure Coconut Oil in Sylvesters right eye, it seems to be helping his infection as the brown ring is gone. And I took my 2nd 1.5mg 0.5ml injection of Trulicity today. Any ideas what you are going to call your car Victor? Me I would say “Slimer”. Because it’s small green and silent as a ghost. Let us know how it drives for you. |

Any ideas what you are going to call your car Victor? How about, "the little green goblin"? The mercury here reached 28C (felt like 26C) today which is a big improvement from the last 5 days and it's cooling down nicely now so a big cook up will occur this evening. Cheers. |

Any ideas what you are going to call your car Victor? Customized plates cost too much, so no name. Putting VW B on there would be nice, as they are my initials, my dad liked VW Karmen Ghias... The gift that keeps on giving. Sigh... And I'd have to go the placard route. $233.71 a month for 6yrs w/Capitol One, I worked my mathematical ass off to get that score, er payment. It has two switchable modes, Eco and Sport, Eco is where I need to keep it as I think the battery has 40-50 miles of range out of 82 miles, I'm the 3rd owner, one day soon I'll replace it with a new or refurbished 19Kw version, technically it will do 0-60mph, in 7.2 seconds, the gas version needs 10.2 seconds to do 0-60. A Refurbished 19Kw battery right now costs $10,361.50 from GM & can be financed, currently GM has no New batteries as production is recovering from the last UAW strike. I might be able to have a 2017 Bolt or Volt 3.6Kw inverter installed to replace the 2015 Spark 3.3Kw inverter, I'd love to install a 6.6 Bolt inverter, but I don't know if the extra capacity would be seen or not, the 3.6Kw should work just fine as it's just a bit faster and no bigger physically than my current one and from what I read wired the same too, keys or not. One Gen2 Volt owner is running a Bolt inverter in his Volt. I did find a seat belt extender that works in a Chevy, my old one does not work in Chevy's, just Ford... I am going to sleep good tonight, my body is tired and I'm hurting good. I'll be able to take the trash out too. Green exterior and Black leatherette seats, with 4 cup holders, electric windows, working a/c, plus a trunk that'll hold about 6 bags of groceries or about 12cuft, and it now works with my phone for music or as a phone. I helped some like in connecting the cable to the wall and getting the cable routed behind my desk, the rest I just watched as my neighbor did the work. The SAE J1772 charging cable and supplies was $291.84 total w/FREE delivery, without Black Friday this would have been $399.59, the cable is capable of up to 32 amps @ 240v and the cable included a charging box hanger and a charging cable hanger, the Green 5-15 to 14-50 adapter, a 14-50 125v/250v outlet, and 5 useless #6 1" woodscrews, at the moment the car uses only 12 amps @ 120v. No smog check, no tune up or oil change or leaky ICE, No CO2 to attract flies with... Maintenance: Tires(2-185/55R15 | 2-195/55R15), shocks, axles, brakes, and 3-wipers, if needed a/c and windshield. Paint: White and Light Blue attracts flies, Red just fades, Dark Gray is good but came w/o the DCFC that I needed, Lime Green was the only choice, Adding a cable to the Dark Gray car would involve a $557.66 cost from ebay or about $808.12 at Chevy before any labor if a Chevy Dealer would do the upgrade, it can be done at home after the battery disconnect is removed. The only downside right now? No gas water heater as my last one quit after 17yrs, I intend to go electric on the 30 gallon tall water heater and I found one at Lowes for $453.31 delivered(AO Smith), the Home Depot is closer and $516.12 delivered(Rheem), a difference of $62.81.
