L Arm, Ab, R Arm, L Thigh, R Thigh...

The brief instructions say rotate the Trulicity injections,
1 shot per week(7 days, Romans had an 8 day week).

Dosage per shot 0.75mg.

I've never given shots to myself before, it's always been someone else.

My shots are all in my fridge where they have to be stored at.

Myself I'm taking another break from outside to cool down and partake a few refreshing lagers.

I still have a few more things to do out there, but I'll wait until that area goes into shade before I attempt to finish the rest, though I did get all my current working small wicking tubs back into full sun (which they wouldn't be getting now in their winter positions).

Cheers.

Mines are dark places, sometimes dry and sometimes full of rotting timbers, one water soaked timber could be poked inward, wooden timber shouldn't be poke-able with a finger...

One mine has a Bat and no belfry, the belfry outside in a desert "church" is too hot for the Bat.

Just barely hanging on here after another long and warm day (we reached 24C, felt like 20C here today), but I will have to crash very soon.

Cheers.

Getting ready for the next of this seasons storms to roll in tonight and tomorrow = more wind, more rain, more trees down, more floods.

All is damp and chilly.

As the sun went down, there was an amazing amount of condensation forming on all exposed surfaces. Hopefully, none of that gets into any of the electronics anywhere...

One good bit of unexpected fun was for ("simply") moving a controller onto the other side of a narrow walkway so as to get some cabling safely tided out of the way and to swap some old cable for newer higher spec (and screened!) stuff. This is the sort of kit that doesn't get switched off... Last time would be hundreds of days ago. Once moved, it didn't power up. Errrk!... All the connections were double checked all ok. The rerouted cables were checked over a third time and found to be ok... So... Quick dash to connect a terminal up and to see if/what anything was happening and... There was an over-current alarm that then switched off the connected equipment. Really?!... Checking the configs showed that some new kit had been added with the system still live. The power checks are only checked during power up!... Adding a second power module fixed that so all good, except... I'm not trusting those multiple power modules to cooperate so the two got swapped with one of my super PSU modules. And finally... Yay! It works!!

And time flies far too fast.

The overnight wind here has certainly stirred up those fires to the north of here up even further and I was surprised to see that the chopper fuel truck and its accompanying townie's fire truck protection both stayed on the oval all night (I wonder if it'll get used today).

ATM with the current wind direction we're clear of the worst of the smoke, but that's expected to change in the next hour or so pushing that smoke to the north over the village, though showers and thunderstorms are expected here later this afternoon and evening (I just hope that the later don't turn out to be dry 1's again).

At least we're only expecting 23C here today instead of the 29C (felt like 23C) we got yesterday while early spring temps are expected over the next week with at least the last 5 day of those so far expected to be wet which we certainly need.

Anyhow I've sealed up my brew kits after their overnight out gassing (it sure does smell sweet in here this morning) and put things back to right in the brewroom so I might as well get a 2nd coffee break in before I go outside to check on Dog (who's being very quiet so far today) and my veggies.

[edit] Well I didn't last long out there in the smoke and wind while the temp here gets to 14C (feels like 9C) after a 12C (felt like 8C) start.

Cheers.

Trying to get a nurse to come out here, I talk to appointments and get sent to Nurses who in turn send me to appointments, just so someone can give me a flu/covid booster shot and/or a trulicity shot, otherwise the 4 trulicity shots will stay in my fridge until they expire...

I've always received shots, I've never injected, and I don't need hand holding like a baby, I need action that I can't mustard, I'm waiting for the Doctor's Office to call me back...

The smoke and wind kept those firefighting choppers grounded for a while this morning as they're only now just starting to head north meanwhile the guys down on the oval decided that they'd turn their vehicles around to face the other way.

Anyhow with these conditions going on I think that I maybe in for a day of catching up on missed out shows again.

Cheers.

So you can’t play darts with yourself Victor? Lol. I understand. My mother taught me to give her insulin shots to her. I learned how to fill and jab her with a syringe around the age of 8 or 9.

Now is the fun time. You would call it pain weather. My gas furnace at my flat has gone wonky. It starts up and runs the startup sequence until the main burner starts. And then it runs a few seconds and quits. Management says they will have someone look at it tomorrow. I’m glad this building has some thermal mass heat retention so it doesn’t get to chill yet at night. The next four nights are predicted as 24, 27, 31 and 39. Hopefully it is a easy fix.

These are premeasured shots pf 0.75mg each. I get taking the cap off of the pen, that I can do, the rest I can't do.

One nursing firm said they don't come out here anymore and sent the referral to another firm, my Doctor's Office now has to talk to the new guys about sending someone, no wonder the RN never called or came here.

My gas furnace is mostly newish, except for the casing everything inside that moves is pretty new, 2.5 tons and hard to light the pilot, but it does work, the thermostat is digital and uses 2 AA alkaline batteries, I'm going to buy a battery eliminator to see if I can stop buying batteries for it. I tried NiMH and the thermostat won't work with those batteries. The casing is 36 years old and has surface rust and even if I could buy NOS casing who would install it? But then I don't know if the casing is for sale as NOS.

My monthly deliveries are trickling in, cat food an supplies and a brown cube case...

I have black grill parts to replace the bronze grill with,
the seller said the case had been white at one time.
I'll have to replace the drive bay cover, bronze looks more like tacky gold,
the "bronze" seems to be only on the front and top, ebay gave me $10 off.
I like these cases, they seem light, yet sturdy, UPS is delivering it.

18lbs cat food, a 3rd feeder, a scratching pad.

In November work on my car starts, I've got the parts all gathered.

I just need AAA out here on Saturday and a local friend to drive me to and from Midas.

Well the wind has dropped, but it has changed directions so we're now getting flooded with smoke here and I'm certainly staying inside again after my little wander about half the village.

The B-Double refueler down on the oval behind me has now been replace by 2 semis and the choppers are making use of them.

Anyhow I better have a bite to eat.

Cheers.

We have a beautiful sunny respite yet all is sodden and wet with a chilly damp.

And the sun too soon will fall!
