We actually got to windy 15C (felt like 9C), but as the sun sets it's down to 11C (feels like 6C) with a windy 2C expected here in the morning.

I have got my veggies covered up as even though the sheds (Dog's and mine) will be protecting them from the wind there's still the chance of frost forming there.

Anyhow I guess that I should start thinking about dinner.

Cheers.

This is the first time in almost five years living in this flat. I had to serve eviction on a mouse. Don’t know where it came from or how it got in. Saw it a few days ago and I set out glue traps. Today I served eviction on this squatter. I replaced the trap with a new one and hope it was only one that I will have to take care of.

Off out for some much needed local beers later.

And I'm really enjoying some good healthy food again!

I can really noticeably feel my stomach recovering to be quietly happy again.

... If things go to plan, my next test task and survival of the food-desert site comes in two weeks time. At least we've found a couple of refuges in the far flung area from taking time out for an extended exploratory forage... However, still not good. Further plans and ideas to be chased up!!

(And no wonder that most of the people there look badly unhealthy and zombie three-quarters depressed.)

Winning on a windy Saturday morning that didn't get as cold as the experts reckoned it would. We kicked off here today at 7C (felt like 3C) with 18C expected today,

Anyhow it's now coffee time.

[edit] Seeing as it didn't get as cold as was expected this morning I decided to save my kindling until tomorrow morning (where 1C is expected).

Cheers.

I have 2 more possibly frosty mornings still to get through here before another quick taste of summer and then it goes all over the place with some more rain thrown into the mix Admiral.

Anyhow I'm trying to see out this 1 day match between us Aussies and the Kiwis.

Cheers.

It’s definitely sliding into colder fall/winter patterns here.

Yep, it's gone back to a dark damp chilly wet.

And we still have one 'hut' temporarily marooned on its own island. I suppose we could send the commandos in to get wet 'n' muddy to rescue the cake and biscuits for the fun of it!

Meanwhile, how many emails got stacked up?!...

All good fun?

Sort of winning on a sunny Sunday morning after a 6C (felt like 3C) start here (that I missed) while 22C is expected.

I was hoping to be almost finished brewing by now, but staying up extra late watching the cricket ruined that plan.

Anyhow it's certainly past time for a coffee so I better get 1.

Cheers.

We've just hit the 14C mark (feels like 11C) here as I'm about to enjoy my 2nd cuppa for the day as I contemplate the day ahead.

Well there is the Supercar racing down on the Gold Coast, the Superbike Championship further up the coast at Surfers Paradise and tonight's World Cup Cricket match from India.

I can see another long day ahead of me yet again, but at least it'll be a restful Sunday.

Cheers.

Well ATM it looks like the Poms might have the upper hand in the cricket, but I'll find out the result of the match in the morning.

Cheers.
