Honestly I didn't start until they were in church. ;-)

Anyhow that rain still hasn't arrived here, but I'm having a rest day after the last week here and it's time for a coffee.

Cheers.

What? It's lower than -2C there?

As much as I want to start cleaning up the mess that I created yesterday, the mess, my legs are certainly not in a communicative mood today which makes even getting a cup of coffee an interesting task.

In fact I might try to make another without slopping it this time.

Cheers.

Don't know about subzero lager temperatures but a good beer should be served at merely a cool room temperature...

And the summertime chill continues... Likely feeling all the more chilly due to a heavy damp in the air and smog and a lack of warming sunshine...

Until Arctic Eddie turns around again?...

Posting on a cool Tuesday morning down under.

Sorry to hear about the hassles that you're having with your projector Mike. :-(

Well it's far too early for a super chilled beer so I'll settle for a coffee right now.

Cheers.

After a trip into town (where the wet stuff was falling down) I'm now back at sunny home where the wind isn't blowing a chill gale and we're up to 13C (feels like 10C) ATM with another 2C to go for our expected max for today so now I'm going to enjoy a chilled beer or 3.

Cheers.

Still dark and waiting. About another hour and a half to sunup.
Now begins a fun task of doing a edema treatment for my legs. Getting the inflatable leg garments on is a task for one person with limited mobility. Two people and it is a breeze. It will be over in a little bit over a hour. Taking the leg garments off is easy thankfully.

Cheers.

Feels cool and damp despite reasonable temperatures.

And for a fun fact rediscovered:

Origin of latitude
First recorded in 1350–1400; Middle English, from Latin latitudo “breadth,” equivalent to lat(us) “broad” + -i- -i- + -tudo -tude

Origin of longitude
1350–1400; Middle English <Latin longitudo length. See longi-, -tude

Keep to ya length and breadth of the planet!

(Here's me having been lost in the joke about "longitude" meaning "How long in time from the Meridian"...)

Enjoy knowing where you're at!

Another dull sunshine has occurred again this morning, but that's ok as I've plenty of work to do outside today.

Anyhow it's coffee time as the jug clicks off.

Cheers.

Hi Wiggo!

Does your water end up in the sink for being flushed around the wrong way?

Not any toilet either, because here I meant to be polite.

I only meant that the sun should rise up in the east for not go down in any west.

Thanks!

No bluestar, the water goes in the top and drains out the bottom just like elsewhere and the same goes for our toilets, it would be a real bugger if it filled from the bottom to be emptied at the top. ;-)

Yep the sun does rise in the east here also before setting in the west so that you can enjoy some of it once we're done with it. :-)

Anyhow I better finish this coffee before getting ready to go out and start chopping up all those big branches lying around my backyard.

Cheers.

No, you have it all wrong.

You see we started off with 1 continent at the top on the world, but due to gravity bits broke off and moved downwards, so in reality we here are looking at things the right way up. ;-)

Anyhow it's time to head outside with the loppers and make a start on that mess out there.

Cheers.
