21 pounds of weed shows up at wrong house — and two try to get it back, Texas cops say
Two men attempted to get back over 21 pounds of weed that was delivered to the wrong address, Texas officers said.

The duo was then charged with possession of marijuana, according to Constable Mark Herman.

Officers responded to a “suspicious vehicle” on May 1 and identified the two men wearing shirts that matched the logo on the packages of marijuana, which weighed 21.5 pounds.

Before law enforcement was called, the two men attempted to “pay off” the people that reported them, hoping they wouldn’t call officers, Herman said in a May 2 Facebook post.

As does Google, sending me to a shopping mall and not the museum I requested. Maybe it had something to do with them numbering the street in the backwards order? (Thankfully I still had a Thomas Guide in the car)

There's the old saying that, "some mothers do have them", but in some cases those mothers are them.

An entitled mum blocked my driveway during school pickup, so I took revenge.

In a hilariously petty Reddit post, a man explained how he took revenge on an 'entitled' mum who parked across his driveway during school pickup.

"I live next to a school and I've had parents back up into my driveway to wait for their children. If I'm not going anywhere, I don't mind no harm, no foul," he begins the now-viral post.

But one day recently, he came home to find a woman in his driveway when he needed to pull in.

He explained, "I got out of my car and asked her to please pull out for a second so I could pull in and then you can back up where you were. She said, 'I will only be a few minutes' - I said, 'Ma'am, I live here, and I'd like to get into my garage'."

"I'll move in a bit"

He then provides some extra context before revealing what he ended up doing: "My street is narrow, and parents are parked on both sides to pick up their children.

"It's getting busier, and only one car can get past at a time."

So, he told her that he couldn't just wait "a few" minutes because he was literally blocking traffic.

But the mum didn't budge and tried to wave him away, saying she'd be moving "in a bit."

He then proceeded to park her in by parking perpendicular to her car, blocking his own driveway but also the mum from getting out as well.

Then here comes the best part...

"As I walked by, I told her I really have to use the bathroom and have stomach cramps," he recounted.

He also said to the mum, "You're welcome to call the police, but I won't be out for several minutes."

Only then did it sink in that he was blocking her from moving. "The look on her face after she realised what was happening was priceless," he said......
I wonder if she'll do that again.

ROFLMAO!

There's a certain section in jails that can well treat this sicko in the way that he deserves.

The scene of unspeakable acts of bestiality and animal torture that shocked the nation has hit the market as the disgraced Aussie scientist responsible prepares to learn his fate.

He certainly needs to be "bored" to death.

A sovereign citizen as well as being a religious nutter is a bad combination.

Modern-day anarchists resort to legalese in murder defence.

He has “dominion over all things”. His three children are his “God-given property”. And that’s the defence a murder-accused “sovereign citizen” gives for his part in the brutal slaying of two Kansas women over a bitter custody battle.

“I am a creation of nature and nature’s God,” the defendant declares in an affidavit submitted to the Texas County District Court at Guymon, Oklahoma.

“A people, a man, found alive and living, commonly known by my family, friends and neighbours as Paul Grice and so here I will stand.”

He is the fifth member of a community prayer group calling themselves “God’s Misfits” to be charged with the March 30 murder of Veronica Butler, 27 and court supervisor Jillian Kelley, 39, as they drove along a rural dirt lane. They were on their way to pick up Butler’s two children to attend a friend’s birthday party.........
I was surprised that the FBI wasn't involved, but then again Texas does still have the death penalty and all 5 certainly deserve it.

We really need to find a slowly disappearing island out in the Pacific so that these so called sovereign morons can practice their stupid beliefs on well away from the rest of us.

A sovereign citizen group is using a fake court to justify child kidnapping and extortion.

The logo on the official-looking letter was unfamiliar, but even before opening it, Scott Murrin knew who it came from.

Beneath a motto that read "do no harm", the "warrant" demanded he surrender his two sons to "court sheriffs" and submit himself for arrest.

A failure to comply, it read, would result in life imprisonment with "hard labour".

The document was sent to Mr Murrin in March by a group calling itself Nmdaka Dalai Australis (NDA), a radical anti-government organisation that is aligned with the sovereign citizen movement.

Sovereign citizens oppose the government, viewing it as illegitimate and having no authority over them.

Members of NDA were among the protesters who clashed with police at Old Parliament House in December 2021. That protest resulted in fires that caused nearly $5 million in estimated damages.

NDA was co-founded by Mr Murrin's former partner Helen Delaney, who attracted national attention last year when a video went viral showing a NSW Police officer ripping out her car window to arrest her, as she voiced baseless claims about why she and her companion were exempt from the law.......

Don't forget: They need employment opportunities too. I think Nauru is suitable for this. There's a profitable business where they can use their superior skills.... to dig up sea bird poop.

Crime doesn't pay, but it got this fool his Darwin Award.

Disturbing footage has captured the moment a teen snatched a mobile phone from an elderly man before being fatally struck by a bus just seconds later.

Security camera footage has captured the moment a teenager snatched a mobile phone from an elderly man before being fatally struck by a bus just seconds later.

The incident occurred on Friday in Lapa, a suburb of Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Footage shared on social media showed the 17-year-old, wearing a baseball cap, dark T-shirt, shorts and thongs, walking near a pedestrian crossing as he passes the 71-year-old victim, who is speaking on the phone.

The youth turns and lunges, grabbing the phone out of the man’s hand and dashing away.

A second CCTV angle shows him running across a road, directly into the path of an oncoming bus, which knocks him to the ground and appears to drag him for several metres before stopping......

The mother was seen conversing with another woman in the middle of what is believed to be Gordon Spratt Reserve Skate Park in Papamoa, on New Zealand’s North Island, in footage shared by social media user ‘Scooter Brad’.

“Karen thinks it’s OK to stand around a skate park, news flash … it isn’t,” Brad wrote on the video, which has wracked up over four million views.......
But the video shows it all.

Why do these brain dead moronic fools want to keep coming here?

Right-wing commentator Candace Owens insists Australian tour will go ahead amid calls to deny her a visa.

The right-wing American political commentator and conspiracy theorist Candace Owens has declared she still plans to come to Australia, despite a loud push for her to be blocked from entering the country.

Ms Owens has an Australian tour scheduled in November, with tickets on sale for $95. Or, should you be so inclined, you can pay $1500 for a VIP dinner with her.

Promotional material for the tour promises attendees “an electrifying evening” with “the outspoken and fearless” social commentator, saying she is known for her “controversial takes and unwavering stance”.

The extreme views Ms Owens has frequently expressed, including outlandish conspiracy theories about Jewish people and the minimisation of Nazi Germany’s atrocities, caused her to be turfed out by The Daily Wire, a conservative news website, in March. She had hosted a popular talk show, Candace, on the platform since 2021.

She also has a record of spreading conspiratorial content about vaccines, Muslims and transgender people, among other subjects........

Oh those "Sovereign Morons", they're nothing but cheats and losers.

A council worker has been praised for sending a brutal letter rubbishing a “sovereign” citizen’s nonsensical attempt to escape paying rates.

A council worker has been praised for their ruthless take-down of a so-called “sovereign citizen” who tried to avoid paying rates using baseless pseudo-legal jargon.

It’s understood the NSW resident felt empowered to send a six-page letter to their local council challenging their unpaid rates after joining a Telegram group for “freedom folk”.

But their letter was met with an unflinching response from a civil servant, who systematically shot down every one of their “nonsensical” legal claims.

A copy of the council worker’s brutal response, and the Telegram discussion that led to the failed attempt to escape paying overdue bills, was shared on Twitter this week.

The Telegram chat begins with an unnamed “sovereign” asking if anyone in the group has tried to get out of paying credit card debt using the “bills of exchange act”........
It's also quite obvious that they're all brain dead.

I think it is wrong to approach the problem in this way. No injustice was done to these 'sovereign citizens' and they know it. They want to blow up the system, the society and its rules. If you respond to their bizarre arguments and refute them, you will may feel satisfied. But if the number of these idiots is sufficiently large, the brave council workers will sacrifice themselves and increase their efforts further. More and more time will be devoted to lunatics. This will eventually lead to burnout. It will not change any lunatic's beliefs.

When it comes to laws or unpaid fees... Clarify the rules and implement them, no debate or discussion. Send law enforcement to those who do not obey. Be careful not to treat anyone unfairly. This is what made prosperous societies possible in the past.

Well Erika if "they" (whoever "they" are) do come after you you have no one else to blame but yourself posting baseless false claims on Facebook.

Woman’s regret for pet eating post that went viral and led to bomb threats.

The US woman whose social media post was among the first to spread a baseless claim of Haitian immigrants were stealing and eating locals’ pets says she’s deeply regretful and never intended to cause harm to the Haitian community.

She added that she is now “terrified” that someone might come after her.

That falsehood has now been repeated several times by Donald Trump including at last week’s debate with Kamala Harris that was watched by 67 million Americans.

“It just exploded into something I didn’t mean to happen,” Erika Lee told NBC News on Friday night, US time.

Ms Lee, from the small city of Springfield in Ohio, had no first-hand knowledge of any such incidents involving the Caribbean immigrants when she posted on Facebook recently about a missing cat that her neighbour reportedly believed was butchered and eaten by one of the city’s Haitian residents..........

.........“I’m not a racist,” Ms Lee emotionally told NBC News, adding that her daughter is mixed race as she is herself as well as a member of the LGBTQ community......
But you could've fooled me with the “I’m not a racist” bit stupid.

Then we have Venezuela's wannabe dictator Nico.

Three Americans are among a group of five people who have been detained in Venezuela over an alleged plot to ‘destabilise’ the country.

Three Americans, two Spaniards and a Czech citizen were detained in Venezuela on suspicion of plotting to destabilise the country, the government said on Saturday, as the United States denied allegations it was involved.

The arrests come amid heightened tensions between Venezuela and both the United States and Spain over Venezuela’s disputed July 28 presidential election, which the country’s opposition accuses President Nicolas Maduro of stealing.

Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello said that the five foreign nationals were being held on suspicion of planning an attack on Mr Maduro and his government.

“We know that the United States government has links to this operation,” Mr Cabello asserted.

Mr Cabello said two Spaniards were recently detained in Puerto Ayacucho in the southwest.

He added that three Americans and a Czech national were also arrested and linked the alleged plot to intelligence agencies in the United States and Spain as well as to Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado........
And some people have to wonder why Venezuelans are leaving home and wanting to go to the U.S..

Maybe a few years in Silverwater's maximum security section might sort this moron out.

Cringing jurors, judge called ‘barking dog, parrot, master propagandist’: Inside wild court antics of sovereign citizen child kidnapper.

A sovereign citizen child kidnapper berated a judge as a “talking parrot” and “master propagandist”, claimed she was a “living woman” and engaged in “rude and offensive behaviour” until a judge charged her with contempt.

The woman’s wild court antics were revealed in a scathing judgment published by NSW District Court Judge Andrew Haesler last month after she pleaded not guilty to child abduction in August.

The woman’s chaotic trial in Wollongong District Court was plagued by “rude and offensive” behaviour towards prosecutors, court staff, witnesses, the judge and the jury – including attempts to approach a juror while her own son was giving evidence.

The behaviour grew so bad that Judge Haesler charged her with contempt of court, remanding her in custody before a guilty verdict was returned......

.....After a guilty verdict was returned, the woman made a parting shot at the jury: “Thanks guys. See you ‘round … next time you’re in (trouble) I hope people stand up for ya.”

She is due to be sentenced on December 18.

Judge Haesler’s judgment ends with a blunt assessment of the woman’s court antics.

“The woman chose to represent herself. (She) chose not to seek advice from lawyers or any guidance from me about her conduct of her trial,” the judgment states.

“She chose not to listen. She chose to obstruct the trial. She chose to proceed on the basis that the laws of NSW did not apply to her.

“Her actions were deliberate and considered.

“She was, in all respects, ‘the maker of her own misfortune’.”

If the hiring discrimination been going on in the US since at least 2013, it's probably also going on in other places in the world that long also.
Cognizant discriminated against non-Indian workers in H-1B visa case, US jury finds
A US jury has found that employment practices at Cognizant constitute discriminatory conduct toward non-Indian workers in a case that originated in 2013 and claimed the tech giant favored H-1B visa holders from India over local workers.

Last week's verdict [PDF] says the IT service giant should pay punitive damages. It followed Cognizant's failed attempt to have a federal judge dismiss a 2017 class action lawsuit alleging bias on the grounds of race and nationality after a previous trial ended without the jury reaching a verdict.

P.T. Barnum's famous quote applies here:
Man posing as Dubai prince left victims in ‘financial nightmare,’ feds say
A man from Lebanon was sentenced to prison after officials say he stole over $2 million from small businesses in Texas.

According to officials, (felon) pretended to be a Dubai prince and a businessman. He convinced small and medium-size business owners in San Antonio that he could help grow their businesses into the United Arab Emirates by telling them he was “charged with bringing U.S.-based businesses to market in Dubai,” officials said.

(felon) told the business owners that they needed to make an initial payment to “initiate the flow of funds,” officials said.

He said in order to secure the funding, the business owner had to come up with $100,000. The business owner sent (felon) $70,000 before (felon) cut off communication, officials said.
