Well I'm off to bed so that I'm ready in the morning to do a bit of welding.

Cheers.

We've just got some fog rolling through the village ATM, but it is sunny with a heady 25C being expected here today, and hopefully I'll be able to start welding in a couple of hours.

Cheers.

I'm just waiting on the kids from in the house to head off to school so that I can get started outside, but everything is all setup and ready to go.

I might as well get my last coffee for the morning in I guess.

Cheers.

All is calm and cool and quiet. Both Orion and the Big Dipper shine brightly in the clear darkness. There is the faint rumble of a very distant freight train clattering along somewhere afar...

Back to summertime already?!

Apart from all the mud:

UK weather: Country sees a 'second spring' due to mild November weather

How weird is that?

... Can't be can it?

All that industrial pollution??...

I'm just enjoying my last coffee break for the morning, after catching up on some long neglected domestic duties, before hanging out a load of washing. Then it's back to grinding, welding and cutting (well that's today's order) for my latest project.

It's also nice knowing that I can use all these tools on these sunny days without the need to draw on the grid and everything seems to work just that little bit better while running off all those solar panels as well.

Anyhow, back to my coffee.

Cheers.

Have another 8 hours before Sunday shows up. Getting ready to go to my dad’s for a visit. He turned 73 on the 14th. Need to visit a bit more often. My brother lives with them so they are not alone in their upper ages. I don’t remember if I mentioned this or not. My stepmom has been having seizures lately. Doctors are not sure why. She looks like she is getting electrocuted. Tremors in the hands and feet with loss of conciseness.
Far as I know everything is okay at the house. So I will get a little face to face time today.

Enjoy your face time Admiral.

I want to mow my yard today as more rain is expected here this afternoon (if it shows up), but I think that I've pushed myself a little too far over the last 3 weeks as the old body isn't mowing all that well this morning, and the 6 day forecast isn't looking good for another opportunity to do it.

Maybe I'll feel a bit better after another coffee.

Cheers.

Just got off the phone with my dad. Things have turned upside down. Stepmom is in the hospital last couple of days. She’s in ICU. Her arms and legs are stiff. Respirator assisted breathing and sedated so she won’t interfere (grab) with the airway tube. Dad’s with her currently.
Looks like a visit is off for now.

We're still waiting on that rain here, though it's running late and I may get a wake up call by Thor in a few hours time, and at least I feel a lot better tonight than I did this morning with my legs at least willing to work now, but very little got done today.

Anyhow I just finished simmering a stripped roasted chook carcass so I better get to bed so that I can pick the bones out in the morning.

Cheers.
