Posting while behind opening my advent calendar. Moving slow with so much ice on the ground. Dropped below freezing last night so it's slick outside.

Rose above freezing during daylight hours so everything that was damp is now really slick....

It must be snowing again down south as we got off to a chilly 5C (felt like 3C) start here and as I get ready to mow the yard again we're now up to 19C (feels like 13C), with 22C being expected, but our short taste of summer looks to over as snow is expected over the next few days down south.

Now to see if my spine will work outside or whether that chilly wind wind make it lockup.

Cheers.

From frost to fire... That's quite a temperature difference!

That -15% in the AMOC turnover is really being felt already!!

... Until we get The Day After Tomorrow?...

Stay chill folks!

Well that wind dropped off a bit for 2.5hrs while I got the grass back under control again and now that's it's done it's time for a beer or 2.

Cheers.

Winning while enjoying the last hour of sunlight, but we could do without that cold wind that's blowing, while we reached 23C (felt like 17C) here today.

Cheers.

Laying back down again. Can’t seem to get off to sleep without 2 or 3 bathroom breaks during my night.

It's a chilly Thorsday morning here in the highlands where we kicked off at 2C (felt like 0C) with 20C being expected.

Where is our summer?

Cheers.

Well... It's strangely not frosty for a change, but still feels painfully sub-zero...

Until we plunge properly subzero soon enough this evening...

And we're in the news about people going skiing across the slopes and fields!

All good fun!

Well that was 1 way of getting really sore fingers. I just spent the last hour splitting 1" poly pipe down 1 side and with the aid of a heat gun and some zip ties I managed to put a safety edge around my pumpkin planters which are made of corrugated steel rings so that the vines won't suicide as they pass over the sharp edge as they escape it confines. It's also quite warm now out there out of the chilly wind.

We're now up to 17C (feels like 12C), but it feels a lot warmer than that out on the old veggie garden.

Anyhow I got it done just as LLB arrives.

Cheers.

Clear and freezing today. There was fog forming last night so I expect some ice on the roads this morning.
