Well I just got my seed potatoes in, but it looks like I'll have to get into town for my butternut pumpkins seeds, and a few groceries without getting blown away as we continue to wait for all this expected rain

Time for my last coffee break of the morning now before I pot up some other seeds (which I can do inside just in case it does rain).

Cheers.

Consequences...

My primary peeve is to have the polluters pay the consequences of their source of pollution...

... Except... How do we partition/apportion a series of consequences?...

I havn't got to doing those seeds yet, but as we continue to wait for this so called rain I did get a length of 50mm PVC pipe passed over the fence and I now have the gutter on my shed's front awning running around the corner into a 1000L liquid transport pod on the old veggie garden.

Now where is that rain so I can see how it goes?

Time for a beer or 2 now before I get to those seeds (well they really ain't going anywhere). ;-)

Cheers.

It is getting downright cold over here. The forecast is 4-6 inches west of me. I get around 1 inch since I live on the edge of the snow zone prediction area.

Lost in the mist, a few times!

The wonder of GNSS and electronic wizardry, is far too easy and alluring for blunting the skill and joy of mapping a beautifully crafted paper map to the reality around you...

Winning at the end of my shift. A few more minutes and I’ll clock out. Hopefully the wet rain yesterday didn’t freeze. I don’t want to have any surprises driving home.

[UPDATE:]

I'm still making good progress in my healing. However; had a small hitch.
Swelling/Inflammation in the leg wasn't going down on the Mobic, (anti-inflammatory),
so, I went in to my Primary Care's 'Walk-In Clinic'. Turns out his daughter
now works there. I saw her in her work as a P.A.

After looking at the leg, and feeling it for how warm/hot it was, she
determined that the leg was showing signs of an infection. She also wanted
to rule out the possibility of blood clots, so she sent me out to have an
Ultrasound checkup. Got the results of this, yesterday. NO blood clots. :-)

I'm now on antibiotics for the short term, and in the short 24 hours of doing so,
it seems that the leg is showing improvement and inflammation is down just a
little bit. The inflammation had spread downward into the calf and into the left
foot. Now, the left foot's swelling is greatly reduced, and the calf is showing the
most improvement in reduced inflammation. (My compression sock no longer
'strangles' the calf.)

The overall increased inflammation has temporarily reduced my inflection of the
knee down to 90 Degrees, (still acceptable progress at this point), down from the
110 Degrees that I built up to. With the 24 hours of antibiotics and reduced swelling,
I've managed to regain inflection back to 95 Degrees; so progress is being regained. :-)

I will keep you all in the loop.

Keep with it and good luck!

Hey TL. I’ve been there for blood clot ultrasound. By the time I got out of there I thought I could hear Julia Childs saying “And this is how we tenderize the leg of…”
