Why not?

Anyhow as the dominoes continue to fall on the N.S.W. Liberal (right wing conservative) government.

NSW Trade Minister Stuart Ayres resigns over John Barilaro New York scandal.

1 has to wonder when Dominic's domino will finally fall and why hasn't ICAC stepped in as yet?

This is just 1 of the results of the policies of our last greedy right wing government who left a huge financial mess behind them.

The truth about Australia’s east coast gas crisis is coming out. Now the pressure is on the new Government to fix years of mistakes.

Now why should foreign customers get our gas cheaper than we here can get it?

Did that hurt Clive?

Tanya Plibersek says she will block Clive Palmer’s proposed coalmine near Great Barrier Reef.

The environment minister, Tanya Plibersek, has said she intends to block a coalmine project backed by mining billionaire Clive Palmer that would have dug for the fossil fuel just 10km from Queensland’s Great Barrier Reef coastline.

Palmer’s Central Queensland Coal project would have mined up to 18m tonnes a year from two open-cut pits near Rockhampton.

The call comes amidst calls from the Greens to ban new coal and gas projects as the Albanese government’s bill to enshrine a 43% cut to greenhouse gas emissions made its way to the Senate.

The decision is the new environment minister’s first in the portfolio.

Environmentalists said the proposed refusal was a victory for the state, for the Great Barrier Reef, for the environment and for the climate.

A Queensland state government assessment said last year the Central Queensland Coal project was “not suitable” and would risk damaging the reef as well as wetlands, fish habitat and ecosystems that depended on groundwater.

Environmentalists said the proposed refusal was a victory for the state, for the Great Barrier Reef, for the environment and for the climate...
Our wannabe like "Donald" must be finding it hard now that his right wing coal hugging buddies are no longer in power.

Finally a federal government that is making a difference for our future.

Federal government declares Australia's first six offshore wind energy zones.

The federal government has declared Australia's first offshore wind zone, giving developers the green light to ramp up planning and consultation for wind farm projects.

Federal Energy Minister Chris Bowen announced waters off the Gippsland coast, in Victoria's south-east, would be the first offshore wind zone.

Other areas will follow off the coast of the Hunter Valley and Illawarra in New South Wales, Portland in Victoria, Northern Tasmania, Perth and Bunbury in Western Australia.

Developers last week told the ABC projects were being held up by the federal government dragging its feet on the impending declaration, which allows them to consult and then apply for permits.

Mr Bowen said other countries had been successfully producing energy from wind farms in the ocean for years, and it was Australia's time to catch up....
Instead of 1 that couldn't/wouldn't kick their coal habit.

It must be hard being a fossil fuel loving right wing pollie these days in Australia when things happen and you just can't do a thing to stop the progress.

'The climate wars are nearly over': Labor, teals and Greens take a win on emissions as Liberals watch on.

1 thing left to do that those greedy fossil fuel loving pollies won't like either, but there's not a thing that they can do there either other than just sitting and watching.

Vehicle emissions standard could be on the table ahead of electric vehicle summit.

Meanwhile in N.S.W. our corrupt ring wing Lib's problems just keep on growing as even more jobs for party mates corruption comes to light.

Two former NSW MPs interviewed at last minute for senior trade roles, internal emails reveal.

It come as former NSW deputy premier John (Shifty) Barilaro is about to face the music over his appointment as N.S.W.'s trade commissioner to the Americas and his role in the creation of these overseas trade positions for party mates (and himself), but as more comes to light our premier preying mantis Dominic's domino is wobbling very badly now as it looks like he had a very big hand in all of this corruption from the start as calls become louder for the independent inquiry's points of reference to be expanded.

A lot of us here are still wondering when ICAC is going to step into this (or are they just waiting for this inquiry to be completed 1st?).

Oh dear even more "jobs for mates" corruption has just come to light, but Dominic Perrottet says allegations he promised London role to David Elliott 'offensive', as his position becomes even more untenable by the hour.

[edit] News just coming through is that the terms of reference for the inquiry has just been expanded to include all of the created $500K trade positions, aka; "jobs for mates", now.

Oh boy, this state's right wing government is imploding fast and their facial movements are showing their guilt for all to see.

State government forced to release resignation letter of the state's building commissioner. (video)

Well the corruption watchdog is involved in this scandal so heads will roll.

Former NSW building commissioner David Chandler's resignation letter referred to ICAC.

Well it also looks like the N.S.W. ring wing government is no better than its federal counterpart was.

NSW parliament's culture of bullying and sexual harassment revealed by investigation.

Meanwhile it seems that the guilt of it all has got to Barilaro.

Barilaro pulls out of parliamentary inquiry into US trade job.

No wonder SloMo didn't want to deliver on his election promise of a federal ICAC.

Morrison breaks silence on secret ministry scandal as Anthony Albanese seeks legal advice.

Apparently he was the minister for nearly everything in the end.

Even the man who was disposed by SloMo

Malcolm Turnbull blasts Scott Morrison over secret ministerial appointments during 7.30 interview.

Was it the drugs?

Former PM Scott Morrison was ‘sedated’ at night for his insomnia throughout pandemic.

Even more reason to get a federal ICAC up and going quickly with the same bite as state versions (which SloMo and his side kicks didn't want, I wonder why).

[edit] Just in is SloMo can only remember taking on 5 portfolios, but that could change.

Damning report released into the N.S.W. LNP "jobs for mates" affair.

Review into John Barilaro's US trade job finds government did not stay at 'arm's length'.

While at the federal level members of the same party are calling for SloMo's head over his secret self government.

Former home affairs minister Karen Andrews calls on Scott Morrison to resign from parliament over secret power grab.

He who once stated that, ‘The Lord wants me to be prime minister’, has shown us all that he's nothing but a common snake oil salesman just like many other typical hypocritical religious nutters.

After the 2019-20 bushfires here our state Liberals decided to put all emergency services under the control of a new department called "Resilience NSW" which during our recent on going flood events has been found badly wanting by 2 major stinging reviews.

‘Hard reading’: Damning report into NSW floods comes with hefty price tag.

Meanwhile at a federal level ex Liberal leader and ex prime mobster, SloMo, who appointed himself secretly to 5 portfolios (though he could only remember 3 of them), is getting himself deeper into hot water.

Morrison gave two reasons for secretly taking on five ministerial roles. But his lack of trust is what's most extraordinary.

As another review into his government handling of a situation was also found to be badly wanting.

Planning for COVID-19 vaccine rollout left too late, Commonwealth failed to adequately engage states, damning review finds.

No wonder his party was almost wiped out at the last election and the N.S.W. branch looks like it'll follow suit before the end of May next year.

Our "God ordained" ex-prime monster and religious nutter SloMo has been caught out due to him "wanting god-like power" and things will change so that it can't happen again as calls for him to resign grow even louder (even within his own party).

Morrison lashed in Solicitor-General advice on secret minister scandal.

Blatant lies, cover ups, deceit, pork barrelling and just being plain out of touch with most of the people (especially women) have all been hallmarks of his long term in politics and he needs to go quickly.

Albanese government scraps funding for Governor-General-backed foundation.

Is that why kept quiet on all of SloMo's secret ministries?

More damning evidence of just how crooked our last federal government and their secretly sly leader, SloMo, were.

SloMo has a great deal to explain.

ScoMo’s ‘committee of one’ held hundreds of secret meetings.

It'll be interesting to hear what he said to himself during those meetings.

And that's a lot of right wing pollies who have no power at all to stop it from happening. What have they got to hide?
