Well all my little chores are done for today and now I'm just waiting on P.O.E.T.S. Day's LLB to arrive.

Cheers.

Message 2093876 - Posted: 11 Feb 2022, 3:13:27 UTC - in response to Message 2093869.

When I had two cats at one time, one cat hissed at the other, it was over after that.

It took Cali, (a Calico, female), 3 weeks to get used to Einstein, (Russian Blue, male), before she stopped
hissing and trying to kill him.

We had to lock her in the Master Bedroom while he got to roam the house and get his scent all over the
place. Then we switched after a week and a half and she roamed the house picking up his scent and
realizing that he wasn't leaving. Then we switched again for a 'meeting' at the Master Bedroom door.

He put his paws under, and meowed to her. (Actually, he meowed to her, and was friendly to her from
the start. She was the one that wanted NOTHING to do with him.) At this meeting, she sniffed him
under the door. We let things be for a few minutes, my Ex with Einstein, me with Cali. When Cali
didn't hiss this time, we opened the door just ajar to let her see him. Her ears went back for a moment,
but she still didn't hiss, or try to kill him. So, we opened the door fully and she just stared at him. After a
moment of that she turned and walked towards the Master Bathroom hall and laid down. He slowly came
into the room. This was the 'beginning' of their friendship. From that point on, not only did she tolerate
Einstein, but they became the best of friends. They would actually play and wrestle with each other.
They even slept on the bed together at night.

So, be prepared to take similar steps in separating Grace from Duo until Duo gets his scent over the
entire place. You may also need to keep Grace in your Master Bedroom while this goes on with Duo.

I'm hoping for the best for all three of you. I'm also hoping Grace takes to Duo faster than Cali took
to Einstein. Good luck. :-)

We're dodging rain and storm cells here ATM on a Friday afternoon.

Cheers.

No rain here since last year. We could happily take any you don't want.

Well there was 1 rain cell that we couldn't dodge today, but it didn't last all that long and we're enjoying sunshine again.

I'll find out soon how my chicken mi goreng soup (which looks more like a casserole ATM) goes after a night in the fridge. ;-)

Cheers.

After a few hours spent down in the house this morning getting it ready for reoccupation I'm ready for a beer break.

Cheers.

Well I've done enough for today down in the house and I'm ready for a couple of more beers now.

The vacuuming and mopping can wait until tomorrow.

Cheers.

I imagine a bunch of investors are crying over their lost investment. A few days ago it went up in a five alarm fire. The tv news said the 5 story luxury apartment building was a month from opening and is a total loss of $62 million.

Edit: Just had a power flicker. My UPS is working nicely. I was moving files from one drive to another. Transfering 171 GB and no hickups.
