Ahhh... Here we have a mild and breezy dry.

Could go well with a Martini for the premier of the latest 007 film...

Enjoy!

Well my brewroom is oozing yeast farts like there's no tomorrow while the temp here has gone from 9C (felt like 7C) up to 12C (feels like 10C) with 15C expected.

There was 28.5mm in the gauge (MTD:39.25mm/YTD:762mm) with 16mm still needed today to get the total up to our long term September average (10-20mm is expected today), but we're still well ahead of our long term average up to this point of the year which is 580mm.

Dog will not be happy today either as she'll be left on her chain so that she won't jump up on people with muddy paws or race around the very soft yard (chewing up the lawn), but she'll get over that.

Anyhow I'm off for my 3rd and last coffee break for the morning before seeing if I can find something else to do over the next 2hrs or so.

Cheers.

The sky is clear and quiet.

The stars are shining brightly for quite a spectacle.

And by 'eck it's gone chilly!

Well Dog only just poked her head out of her shed to see what I was up to so she must be happy enough just laying in there on her dry bed. :-)

Anyhow I can see myself getting very bored over the next couple of days with this weather as I've got nothing left to do inside as the spring cleaning has been completed. :-(

I guess that I can at least concentrate on Thorsday and Good Friday celebrations to ease the boredom. :-D

Cheers.

Winning as we take a short break from the showers and storm cells that have been passing through here.

Though more are expected to travel through here before sunrise tomorrow.

Cheers.

It might be as gloomy as while Thor continues to rumble about the area and we're already up to 11C (feels like 10C) here, but whether we reach our expected 17C will be another story for later.

Cheers.

Hey... There does appear to be a planetary resonance:

We have a chill rain that has come rolling over the land...

Doubt there'll be any blinding flashes, other than from a flashlight...

It's been a dreary day here so far and the temp has reached 18C (feels like 15C), but the western sky is darkening up again while the radar shows another line of storms building up.

Anyhow it's time for some fish'n'chips.

Cheers.

TGIF
Back at home. Long-distance drives just seem to take more out of me these days.
Home safe but my body feels like someone had at it with a rubber mallet. Bit sore all over.

10-1-2021 at 9:25 AM - PDT

I'm back, too. Took two days to unpack, do laundry, organize bills for this month, and unwind.

Steve LOVES the Mac Pro 3,1 - Early 2008 System. We went to Best Buy on 9-21, and bought
a Samsung Curved 27" FHD 1080p monitor, a solar charged Logitech Mac Full Sized Keyboard
with 10-Key - USB Fob, Wireless Keyboard, Logitech M510 Mouse, 7-Port USB Hub, and a
Yamaha 25" Soundbar with Built-in Subwoofers.

The Logitech Keyboard is finicky with the 'Option' Key. This made it VERY difficult to bring up
the Boot Menu/Drive Select Menu of the Mac Pro. So, I reluctantly set in MacOS that the 'Startup
Disk' is Win 10 Pro. This had the issue of selecting MacOS Drive to Boot, (WHEN you can get
the Boot Menu), yield the 'No Entry' sign - rendering MacOS unbootable for the moment. Everything
else is working perfectly. I will look into a replacement Keyboard for Steve at a later date. For him,
this is a MINOR issue, as Win 10 Pro is his OS of choice, anyway.

My friend Bob got me there in time for my niece's B-Day. Steve's wife, (again, NOT told I was coming),
was totally in shock that I was at the door on the 20th. My niece said, "Shouldn't you be in California?"
It was AWESOME!!!!! :-) :-D

Bob went on to Indiana and up to Ohio to see his grandparents' grave site. Then he turned around
and headed back to CA. I flew back on the 29th. It was great to visit, but it's good to be home and
sleeping in my Tempurpedic again.

In contrast, my travels have been a mere walk across/through fields and woods and a few streets to pick up some essential consumables ready for a drive up north of here for a house warming party/gathering. Hopefully, we keep our mild weather for that for keeping their garden warm!

We have hopeful portent with a beautiful sunset at the moment.
