I'm just waiting for the shed's solar heating system to get downstairs up to a comfortable temp so I can complete what I was doing yesterday. Cheers. |

It's still a bit chilly downstairs as yet, but the drip filter has been loaded with half a kilo of charcoal and primed with 3.5L of unholy water so now I'm just waiting for the heat to die down from the charcoal activating before getting the drip started (that'll get rid of that nasty acetone stuff and make it into holy water). Once I get that going I can start to get the brewroom back in order, but I'll enjoy a coffee break first. ;-) [edit] I'm not so sure which water here is colder, the town water or my tank water, but both have chilled my fingers numb. Cheers. |

The mercury here has made it to 15C (feels like 11C) which beats yesterday's 9C (felt like 3C) with 16C expected today while I work away in 24C comfort. I'm also enjoying my 1st beer of LLB as I wait for the next 2L lot of holy water to drip out, Cheers. |

I was looking at 600 acres in my area that had been in escrow for $67 million several years ago. My assessment of value was in the $5-9 million range as it sits today. It's up for auction and it would take 5-6 years to get the first house sold. So I did not want to bid. The broker kept pushing me. I told her the most I would offer is $2 million and that I did not want to insult the seller. The broker insisted that I make the offer. So I did. I might have won. Does anyone have a couple of million to lend? |

Good morning win. No more work for the rest of the week. Lack of microchips continues. With each crime and every kindness we birth our future. |

My question was in jest. I have investors that have worked with me in the past. I have typically tripped their money. If my offer wins I can get $2 million with a few calls. My last project cost $5 million and returned $30 million. My worst deal cost $3 million and returned $17 million. This one will cost about $4 million, land plus development costs. Potential return $70 million. I really don't think I will get it for $2. Even as raw land it's work $6-8. Winning on Hump Day! |

Well that's the weed spraying done for another few weeks again as the temp here is now at 15C (feels like 13C) and still going up (at this rate we'll pass the expected 16C). Now I'm going to enjoy a beer or 2. Cheers. |
