I don't think I buy that as the US is now a net exporter of oil products. |

An interesting argument, but based on a somewhat dubious assumption, namely that all the USA's energy requirements are met by the use of oil. However, even in the USA there is an increasing non-reliance on oil as a source of energy, but rather a whole raft of alternate sources of energy, including in some sectors a reduction in energy demand (from any source) Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

Our exporting of oil and gas is due to the expansion of frakking, which Biden is denying new licenses for. It allows us to harvest the type of oil resources that are most available on our soil And yes, there has been some advancement of alternate energy sources, but a very small percentage of our increasing energy needs. Working on eco-friendly energy is a very good goal, but only a fool would cut off one's existing sources of reliable energy until the technology and infrastructure is in place with sufficient capacity to replace it. And it is nowhere near there yet, and isn't going to be in the next few years.......not even close. Witness the energy debacle in California. They can't even keep the lights on, much less support the electrical requirements to go all-electric transportation in anything remotely in the near future. That's down to previous administrations, both federal & state. Reform your taxes & tighten up the laws. Stop the FAG's & others from their continuous tax avoidance. Take a look at Google Australia for example. |

Quietly forgetting that the oil shale that started this discourse is not on US soil, but is in the ground in another country. Yes, I know all about the electricity supply issues in California, they are nothing new as we had brown-outs when I lived there back in the 1970s, along with the water shortages due to the amount that was being pumped to keep the grass green (and no agriculture ticking along). One thing I do note is that the air(sky) in California is a lot cleaner than the snot-yellow it was back then. Yes, that is what I said. He is denying new licenses. Not all of them, but he is denying new licenses. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." ![]() |

Nice to see that the NIMBY phenomenon is not restricted to the UK. :-) |

Texas AG sues Biden administration over ‘unlawful and perilous’ deportation pause.Pretty quick off the mark there. Shame they weren't quick on this: Jeff Sessions, then US attorney general, told prosecutors in a conference call in May 2018: “We need to take away children.”or this The then deputy AG, Rod Rosenstein, told prosecutors at the time that children should be pulled away from their parents no matter how young they were – even if they were infants. So much for your AG's. Paxton, a Republican, also said the temporary freeze violated an enforcement agreement the state brokered with the outgoing Trump administration earlier this month.Another denier who can't accept the fact that v2.0 isn't running the country any more and he should've seen that coming. As to the other it's obvious that he's staying out of it on legal grounds, that's if there's any substance at all to that situation. But it's certainly obvious that some over there still hang on v2.0's conspiracy theories and untruths. Get over it. |

Oh, the ever changing spin factor. After months of Democratic howling about what should or shouldn't be done about COVID.......... Now that Biden's in charge.....the story changes. Biden says 'nothing we can do' to change pandemic 'trajectory' in coming months. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." ![]() |

Oh, the ever changing spin factor. What are your suggestions that he should take to flatten the curve quickly? |

Oh, the ever changing spin factor. I don't have those answers. I never claimed to. I'm not the one who was claiming while campaigning that he had all the answers. Or trashing Trump all along the way because he did not have all the answers. That would be a question to be asking your man Joe Biden. All of a sudden he's the man in the chair and now he says "There's nothing we can do." "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." ![]() |

Another thing you should understand about Biden, is he is a two faced animal of opportunity. He says what he has to, to those he has to, to maximize his opportunity. This is an article about his stance on criminal justice, but before he had to whitewash it to fit in with his liberal friends. I don't think some of them know about this, or would accept it if they found out. It doesn't quite fit his agenda these days.................. Because, gee, he wanted to see them all in prison. Joe Biden is a liberal in posturing only, and beyond that, by those he is beholden to for getting him this far. The controversial 1994 crime law that Joe Biden helped write, explained. All of a sudden he's the man in the chair and now he says "There's nothing we can do." Why are you surprised. For the last year Trump was the person responsible and in my opinion and lots of others he abdicated his responsibility. He didn't put in place any federal rules and guidelines, he failed to check there was enough or order PPE and medical equipment. Virus tracking and sequencing were virtually non-existent, such that the US has no idea which variants are doing the rounds. He ignored and belittled the people with the knowledge, and even suggest people take bleach, just look at the difference in tone from Dr. Fauci now, to what it was a few months ago. Fox News - What a difference a day makes with Dr Fauci comeback Trump failed to take up an offer of a second batch of vaccines, so they were sold abroad. So now Biden has got to make up these deficiencies that the Trump regime made and that cannot be done in a day. It is going to take months, and if you don't like it. Then there is only one person to blame and his name is TRUMP. |

Maybe it would have helped a lot if a normal transition had been allowed to happen and the President elects office be set up and funded one day after the results were known. Instead of trying to force officials to illegally change the results. |

LOL...... I knew you'd pull the "It was still Trump's fault" card out. I wrote it down before my post, knowing your response. Any attempt to pass the blame on. You don't get a pass on this one. If all the Democrat's men had all the answers, this would be on your shoulders. Now wouldn't it? Try again. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." ![]() |

And after all the years and millions of dollars spent by the Democrats going after some shred of evidence between Trump and Russia, the reality is worse than the lies. Biden giving Putin 'exactly what he wanted' on nuclear arms treaty. Who is your traitor now?? "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." ![]() |
