I hope the USA can follow the good healthy example developing for the UK:

Here's a good inspiration and also a good commentary describing some sad observations upon the state of USA politics:

Elizabeth Warren on the Senate...
wrote:
INTERVIEW: Brian interviews Elizabeth Warren about Republicans' voter suppression bills and nuking the filibuster to prevent them from taking effect, eliminating $50,000 in student loan debt, and barring Trump from holding office again using the 14th Amendment...

What a beautifully inspiring and refreshing contrast to the silliness seen with such as Trump, Cruz, and Mitchell.

The USA really needs more women senators to blow away the entire decrepitude that we see far too much of!

Undoing yet more of the Trump largess legacy:

Alexei Navalny: US imposes sanctions on Russians
wrote:
... Speaking to reporters during a conference call, the US officials said the measures were being co-ordinated with the European Union, which is expected to announce similar steps.

They are the first sanctions imposed on Russia by the administration of President Joe Biden. He has taken a tougher stance than his predecessor Donald Trump towards President Putin.

After phoning his Russian counterpart last month, Mr Biden said he had made it clear the days of the US "rolling over in the face of Russia's aggressive actions, interfering with our elections, cyber-attacks, poisoning citizens are over".

Pushing ahead to Make America Better:

Covid: Biden promises vaccines for all US adults by end of May
wrote:
The US will have enough coronavirus vaccines for every adult by the end of May, President Joe Biden has said.

This will be two months earlier than previously expected, but Mr Biden said the vaccination drive must be extended, too, and people convinced to take it.

And he warned people to "stay vigilant" because "this fight is far from over", with new variants a major concern.

His caution is at odds with some states, which are relaxing restrictions in order to boost their economies...

Note that the "some states, which are relaxing restrictions in order to boost their economies" is some very dangerous greedy short-termism that will likely turn into a deadly costly backfire...

Republicans don't want you to have money to spend in stores and generate profits for small business!

Give a $1,000,000 to the few rich and it does nothing, give a $1,000 to the millions of poor people and they spend it, generating more profits for the rich and more taxes for the governments.
I do not understand the rejection of the win-win option.

Just another 'ism that frequently fails inspection when brain cells are engaged, only good as a defense strategy against other tribes.

The lye used for the brainwashing by Faux these last four years must have been too strong, no longer any functioning brain cells.

Hidin' Biden is still being an elusive putz.
What a disgusting display of continued inaccessibility to the press and the American public.
He really is deathly scared of saying a word in public that doesn't come from a script.

White House press corps ushered away after asking Biden questions — again.

President Biden has yet to hold a solo press conference.

Tuesday not only marks the 48th day of Biden’s presidency, it also marks the longest a commander in chief has gone in recent history without holding a solo press conference.

Biden has gone longer than his 15 most recent predecessors — going back 100 years — without taking questions from the press in the more official forum.

Hidin' Biden's plan to bring Democratic voters across the border.......and COVID too.

Wolf & Carafano: Biden border crisis – incompetence or part of president's plan?

"Biden's executive orders and administration public comments have fueled the crisis."

"The current flood also creates an unprecedented public health challenge: as many as 25% of those entering illegally are COVID-positive."

"The real challenge before us is that we must deal with two problems: the border crisis itself, and the Biden Plan to leverage the crisis into an electoral pot of gold.

What’s happening at the border is not in the best interests of all Americans. It is unfair to taxpayers. It makes our communities less safe and, it adjures the rule of law, making everyone who waited their turn to come here legally just a sucker. "

And don't deceive yourselves..............
If the majority of the illegals were Republican voters, ol' Hidin' Biden and the Democrats would have our southern border sealed up tighter than a drum in a heartbeat. You can count on it.
But waving them all in with a nudge nudge wink wink assures that they will be on the Democratic voter rolls.
And the Dems will make sure they hand out ample taxpayer dollars to them to assure this.

It all plays right into their bogus "For the People Act", to assure maximum fraudulent voting to the benefit of the Democratic party.
Deroy Murdock: HR1, the 'For the People Act,' tells us the Democratic Party is now the party of vote fraud.

Kennedy slams Biden, Dems for calling $1.9T bill 'COVID relief': 'Right, and the stripper really likes you'.

"To me, using a coronavirus bill to effectuate spending porn is like looting after a natural disaster, and that's why I voted against it. "

illegals don't get the vote, and many legal but non-permanent immigrants also don't get the vote.
So what's your problem?

So what's your problem?

The problem is that the 'For the Poeple' act makes voter fraud much easier, which means that many of those illegal and non-permanent people WILL fraudulently vote and get away with it.
And the Democrats are playing the numbers to get millions of illegals into this country so they will get a percentage of them to fraudulently vote Dem.

More spending hidden behind the guise of COVID relief...........
McConnell trashes Biden's COVID relief package as 'multitrillion-dollar Trojan horse'.

"This wasn't a bill to finish off the pandemic, it was a multitrillion-dollar Trojan horse full of bad old liberal ideas,"

What voter fraud?
Show me evidence of any large scale incident of voter fraud.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Presidential_Advisory_Commission_on_Election_Integrity
When they thought they had found voter fraud in New Hampshire, it turned out to be university students that used out of state driving licenses as proof of identity, which is perfectly legal. When this was pointed out to Trump he immediately called a halt to the commission.
