An hour ago I was looking through my collection of ales, or more accuratly looking at their names. Some are really boring, for example "Best Bitter" (actually a disgusting brew not worthy of either of the two words in its name) Others are a bit more interesting, for example "Tangle Foot". This set me thinking - are there alternative names for some of these. And my mind went on a bit further...... (I'm bored, but you wouldn't guess it) - What about a game in which these alternative names contained no words that are not in the real name? Simple??? Well a couple of rules: The suggested alternative name must not have any word that appears in the real name, but must allude to it The words "ale", "beer", "larger" and the like may be assumed to be in the name so do not need to be in the alternative name. Other users may suggest either the "real" name (bearing in mind that the same alternative name may relate to a number of real names) Users may also add alternative names without proposing an answer to any alternative name posted. In other words, just go for it.... To start the ball rolling here's a couple of alternative names: "This fowl is all blotchy" "This ovis is of a very dark colour" -over to you guys & gals (there are no wrong answers, only agonised groans....)
