Well, this season's somewhat surreal NFL football schedule is underway. My favs, the Packers, begin their year's journey today, through the unknown and uncertainties of this season, in Minnesota with the Vikings hosting. It's going to be hard to estimate the impact of COVID on this year's season. Fan support in the stadiums is going to be much curtailed by the virus, and the possibility of both that and the virus itself's impact on the teams and their personnel during the season presents a true wild card at this point. And the possibility of a team or teams being sidelined by COVID remains a very real threat for now. Hopefully a viable vaccine becomes available to mitigate the disease as the season plays out, for the benefit of the players and the fans alike (and the rest of humanity as well). Gogogo Packers!!! I have not been watching any pro sports in 2020 and plan to continue until the players and teams quit the "grandstanding". I will leave it at that without going further. |

Well, it's Sunday again, and time for another Packer game! Another division game today, as the Packers host the Lions. It's gonna take a bit of extra effort for the Pack to get revved up and try to take something from their home field advantage with no fans in the stands at Lambeau. Gonna feel more like a practice game atmosphere. Hope they can fire it up and prevail. Rumour has it they may try to enhance their running attack today. Gogogo Packers! Meow!! And............. The Packers storm back from an early game 3-14 defecit to dominate the Lions today. Final score, 42-21 Packers way on top. MeowPackers!!! Meow! "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once."

Dallas Cowboys eek out a win in the last seconds of the game winning 40 to 39 with an on side kick recovery and a field goal! Former Packers coach Mike Mc Cathy continues his undefeated streak at"Jerry's World"/AT&T Stadium. P.S. === Today is Monday Night Football Debut Day! ABC-TV debuted Monday Night Football on this day in 1970, with Howard Cosell, 'Dandy' Don Meredith and Keith Jackson. The Packers have a Sunday night game this week, and their second away game. The 2-0 Packers will be hosted by the 1-1 New Orleans Saints tonight. Meowwowwowwowwow! It was a real catfight tonight!! The lead went back and forth for most of the game, but a Saints fumble with a Packer recovery in the 4th quarter proved to be the turning point. Packers take the win over the Saints 37-30, taking their season to 3-0. GogogoPackers!! Meow!!! "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once."

Oh geez, here we go............. Titans have NFL’s first COVID-19 outbreak, with 8 positives. Hope they can limit the spread and that everybody recovers. The Packers continued their winning ways tonight with a 30-16 win over the Falcons. That puts the Pack at 4-0 on the season, and at the top of their NFC North division. Some interesting Packers side notes after last night's win.......... The Packers are the only team in the league without a turnover. They're the first team in NFL history to score 150-plus points with no turnovers in the first four games of a season. The Packers (4-0) opened a season by scoring at least 30 points in four straight games for the first time in franchise history. Rodgers became the 11th player in NFL history to have at least 4,000 completions. Green Bay had a season-low 88 rushing yards. Rodgers went 27 of 33 for 327 yards. He has thrown 13 touchdown passes without an interception this season. Soooooooooo....off to a fine start. And hopefully more to come from the Pack. Meow!!!
