I know where all 4 counties are located at, but then I'm not weak in geography.
Australia is also a continent, the rest are all in Europe.

okay...
these people around here are going nuts...
hoarding batteries. like the power is about to go out.
hoarding water like the faucets will lose pressure.
people buying up all the flour to make bread without
buying yeast.
and guns and ammo....
jeebus...
what have we become?

A few years back they were called survivalists, now just plain crazy paranoia.

Tell people there is more coming and that the goods have just not been delivered yet, and they say no more is coming...

Sigh.

Was out early this morning standing in line waiting for my local grocery store to open in about 45 minutes, line was about 100 people deep - almost all waiting to raid the 'paper goods' and bread isles. The meat dept only had soup bones for sale at $3.99 per pound! Prepackaged goods like ham, bologna, cheese, etc, empty. Even candy of all kinds and sizes gone!

The only thing in quantity was drain cleaner but that's probably next on the hoarding list once they clog the drains with the fat & other garbage the will be tossing in the sink.

Had trouble finding automatic dish washer detergent of my choice. Had to settle for the lesser strength level for the brand I wanted.

Mean while back in town, the automobile has a busted fuel line up near the front.

I've got someone to look at it in the morning, rubber rots, if I'm lucky that is all it is.

AAA towed Me and the car back from the Post Office, I can only be towed 7 miles for the moment.

At 9 am this morning I got a call, this office is closed indefinetly. I was already helping a client, 94 yrs old, so I finished his tax return.
I also shop only every two weeks and did so last Thursday, but deceided that I was out and about already, I would spend the last of the last paycheck on food.
No bananas, bulk potatoes, bulk cheese products, no paper products, milk, noodles, rice, canned goods etc pp.
I still managed to up our food supply for four weeks and I always have other essential on hand to last a while.

Also I noticed people are starting to think about their pets. Food running low, but plenty of catlitter.

I may not be able to stay self quaratined for two weeks, if I run out of fresh veggies. But I was able to secure carrots.
YAAAY.
Pluto will always be a planet to me.

It would be ironic if they caught the virus while fighting to grab TP, makes a mockery of keeping their butts clean. :-)

No TP in sight, but some boxes of tissues were available carefully watched over by shop staff.

I saw 1 package of TP being hauled out per cart at the local Walmart on Saturday, on Sunday I went back with a friend and got a prescription filled at the drive up.

Why did I go there twice? The prescription was not ready yet on Saturday.

No, I was waiting in the car for My friend to get back with Her cake.

I don't have enough to buy a package of 12 rolls right now and I think I have enough to last until the 5th and there is always a wash cloth and soap.

Went to buy some chicken wings along with our regular weekly shopping. No chicken wings available at the 2 stores I went to. After returning home and putting what was bought away I decided to go to the local butcher shop. They had wings and informed me that they were expecting 12 more cases in their next delivery. So I got my wings and bought a few more things. But while chit chating with the butcher we came upon the subject of how crazy people were with all the hoarding. He told me that last week, a women came into the butcher shop and bought 1,000 dollars (USD) worth of food. Not only did she buy 10 gallons of milk, but also bought all the center cut rib pork chops in the case as well as 5 beef roasts many pound of ground meat 10 whole chickens etc. WTH are people thinking.

Stopped at Sam’s Club today. The warehouse store was starting to look a bit bare.
