I'm having a problem where I've told Boinc to suspend if the computer is in use (mouse/keyboard) for 5 minutes. I did that both locally and using Web configuration. However, it never really suspends. I have it set to use 25% of CPUs and 50% CPU time. Task Manager always shows at least 10% cpu consumed by Boinc and up to 25% and it always show progress percentage increasing. This is with Boinc 7.14.2 (x64) on Windows 10 with 4-Core processor. Any thoughts? I would love to continue to run this but it really needs to get out of my way when I'm working. Thanks |

BOINC Manager->View->Advanced view->Activity menu->set CPU and GPU to "run based on preferences", as setting these to "Run always" does exactly what you describe. |

That of course fixed it. Funny though that there's settings under "Options" for computing preferences and there's no mention there being related settings under "Activity". Should say something there!! Thanks! |
