Hi, Marco from Itali, I'm a SETI user since 2002 but I suspended elaborations for a while.
Now I want to reconnect with project but
1) I cannot login to SETI with my old mail address
2) my old mail address is no longer available

I've read this
"If your SETI@home Classic email address is no longer valid:
Run BOINC and attach to SETI@home. Select 'new user'. Enter your current email address and choose a password.
Claim your SETI@home Classic workunits. Authenticate using your current email address and the password you just created. Your SETI@home Classic work totals will now be associated with your new account"

but the result is "This e-mail address (***@tin.it) belongs to an active BOINC account, so we can't transfer its credit to your account"

How can I claim my WU?

Thank you!

You can't as it's claimed by that BOINC account. Merging BOINC accounts cannot be done.
If the email address is no longer available to you, you can't use it to have sent a temp login for the account either. Your only option is what you've done already: re-register and continue with that account.
