Hi, I bought this card sometimes ago : https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/autonomous-machines/embedded-systems/jetson-nano/ I tried to run setiathome on it but i never got a GPU task :( I have recently discovered that there is no opencl support for this card : https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/1051190/jetson-nano/opencl-support/ Do you think it could be related ? As far as I can see there is no SETI application (either CUDA or OpenCl) for the Tegra. OpenCl is going to be a hard one as nVida have more or less declared they have no plans to support it on the Tegra family :-( CUDA will be easier, but still a bit of a struggle. As yet the low demand, lack of volunteer developer time places such an application a fair way down the list of device families for which an application will get developed. That said, if you have the skills, and can gain access to the correct tools and branch of the source code it may be possible for you do compile a working application to run on your combination of hardware. Crudley speaking the SETI application comes in two parts, one is the "feeder" that runs on the host CPU (ARM Cortex in your case), and the other does the bulk of the calculation on the GPU. Hi, Thanks for your answer. I thought there had a CUDA application for seti: https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/cuda.php Is it not the case ? Regards, |

The OS part is specific to the CPU type as well as the OS, and it doesn't look as if anyone has produced one for your OS & CPU combination :-( Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

You may want to PM Keith Myers I believe he compiled a version that does work. If you look in his computer list it is crunching on Ubuntu |

Just noticed the thread. Yes I have a working Tegra gpu application based on Petri's zi3v codebase. It still has a lot of inconclusives, more than I like, but not that many errors or invalids. It tends to underreport pulses. Better than nothing. CyborgSam did most of the work with me helping. Waiting for more assistance from Petri when he gets back from summer vacation.
