Data arrives in batches. A single batch generally coming from the same place in the sky, and is observed over the same time slot. In recent weeks most data has come from the Green Bank Telescope, which is doing highly selective searches, and each search takes many hours to complete. Also the graphics are only a representation of the data, not an actually "picture" of it - you might find SetiSpirit will give you a better picture of what you have been doing.
