Well as I got home from having a few beers at the pub I was surprised as my weather station tells me that we've been at our expected max of 19C for the last 2.5hrs, but at least the shed is now back down to 25C after the heat that I generated here this morning. Cheers. |

After another spring like working week the weekend has been another story. We've been getting fog move in on us here of an evening around 8pm and then around 4am an inversion has been happing forcing the fog up to just above the tree tops. It cleared around 10am yesterday and looks to do about the same again today and then we'll get an hour or so of sunshine before the clouds build back up again. Cheers. |

It was back to winter here in the highlands and with the bit of rain on Friday evening and the heavy dews over the weekend our -2C (felt like -5C) this morning has produce a very rare decent frost which is only now disappearing. We're only expecting 14C here today with a chilly SW wind, but it should be sunny. Cheers. |

This morning it was a frosty -3C (felt like -6C) here and a sunny 15C is expected so that leaves just the windchill factor of the SW breeze to be worked out. Currently it's -1 (feels like -4C) as the sun starts melting the frost and misting things up. Cheers. |

We made it here to 15C (felt like 11-12C), but it's now down to 2C (feels like -2C) and a frosty -3C is our expected overnight low. So far this winter I've been caught twice with long pants on, both times early in the morning across at the supermarket. Cheers. |

After a particularly freezing week (it got down to 13°c one night), and some very smoky starts to the day (plenty of fires in the rural areas), the wind has swung around to the North and the temperature & humidity have climbed a bit higher than they have been during the day. It was, for a while, almost sweaty. Almost. Grant Darwin NT |

We kicked off here at 9C (felt like 2C) and expect 13C today, but we've had a gusty easterly blowing over the range here the last few days which is making it very uncomfortable to do anything outside. In fact I think that I'll put another brew down and enjoy the heat. ;-) Cheers. |

Still been getting mostly cool to cold nights (19° to 15°c), but the days have been unusually warm (31°, even a 33°c day) Grant Darwin NT |

Being spoilt here with Spring like conditions, last night had a min of 15c with 2 days of very sunny around 22c-23c, not bad for 2nd month of Winter.. Got a cool change coming through later today and should bring some welcome showers for next 4 days... Over last 5 weeks our rainfall though small amounts, has brought us ahead in rainfall compared to 2018 for the same period.. Extended outlook towards Spring is looking on the dry side.. |

Well after some damp and windy days here we had a lovely spring type day today, but the frosts should be back again for the rest of the week with -4C expected in the morning (so I threw that extra blanket back on the bed). Cheers. |

Still in the middle of Winter, but already some early Spring flowers appearing now with the UV index on the rise.. Hard to believe that in about 7 to 9 weeks the warm weather will return.. Steve |

It's been blowing a westerly gale here on the top of the range lately (and August isn't here yet) and though it was 6C here this morning it felt more like 0C. We're only expecting a max of 12C and we're currently at 10C, but it feels more like 2C out in that wind, so it's another good day to stay inside and I may even throw a few sticks in the fireplace downstairs just to be more comfortable during Beer O'clock. Cheers. |

Continuing warmer than usual weather up here, and even a slight burst of humidity as well. Grant Darwin NT |

This morning in the highlands here kicked off at -7C (felt like -11C), but a sunny day with a max of 16C is expected along with a cold S-W wind. Cheers. |

After to days of -7C starts the experts reckoned that we were in for -8C this morning, but thankfully they got that totally wrong as it was 1C (felt like -3C). The last 2 days saw max temp here 18C and 17C (2&1C above expectations), but only 13C is expected today, though those experts might be far off there too (hopefully). Those cold S-W winds are continuing to keep most here indoors, but at least it's been sunny. Cheers. |

Apart from a good cold burst last month, temperatures here (Min & Max) remain above average. Grant Darwin NT |
