You're not "late", just that your version of time runs at a different rate to others. I hope this thread stays clean and tidy as you in the "lower half" head into winter ;-) Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

Here's how the Easter long weekend turned out here. Friday; Temp range of 13-20C, a mostly cloudy day with an E-SE wind and patches of fine misty drizzle. Saturday; Temp range of 14-20C, a mostly cloudy day with an easterly wind and patches of fine misty drizzle. Sunday; Temp range of 13-20C, a mostly cloudy day with an easterly wind and patches of fine misty drizzle. Monday; Temp range of 11-19C, a mostly cloudy day with an easterly wind and patches of fine misty drizzle. And that easterly wind was knocking 3-5C off those temps and those drizzle patches didn't turn into anything that could be read, but damn the grass has grown. Cheers. |

It was generally 24° to 34° here, although one day it only just made it to 32°. Forecasts are for a few 35° days over the remainder of this week. Grant Darwin NT |

Finally (after a week or so) I got a nice warm sunny morning today so the weed spraying and the other plumbing job just got finished. It started off here this morning at 7C and has now reached 21C, but as I start to enjoy a LLB the clouds are closing in fast. 22C is our expected max today, we may make it yet. Cheers. |

Here the maximums are dropping down to 33°, 24° is about the coldest minimum expected over the next week. There's meant to be a good chance of some rain late Sunday or early Monday, but i'm not going to hold my breath on that forecast. Grant Darwin NT |

It doesn't matter what the official word might be, the Dry Season has definitely arrived- my lips are dry & splitting. Still a bit warmer than usual, but the relative humidity has dropped off considerably; well below 50% during the day. Grant Darwin NT |

Well we've had some nice weather here, but it looks like that may come to an end tomorrow afternoon or evening. Being without the internet for 36hrs was the hardest part to take though, but after a quick trip into town for a new modem this morning I'm back online. Cheers. |

but after a quick trip into town for a new modem this morning I'm back online. Surge? Or it just gave up? I must've had at least a dozen modems over the years of various brands, and ended up with a Billion for the last 3 (1 taken out by lightning on the power line, the other by lightning on the phone line, the 3rd one is still going). Quick to sync, stable, and good speeds. Grant Darwin NT |

At least I'll be warmer tonight with all 4 GPU's fueled up, it got a bit cool here last night when the mercury dropped down to 4C outside, so I'll stay warmer tonight with 7C being our expected low tonight. Cheers. |

7C being our expected low tonight. Oh the misery! 26° to 33° for the next few days, with the chance of some rain, leading up to around 25° to 35° by the weekend. Grant Darwin NT |

Well, we did get some rain this morning. It was heavy enough & lasted long enough to leave some damp spots on the concrete, but didn't get any runoff from the roof. Maybe tomorrow. Grant Darwin NT |

We kicked off to a foggy 8C here this morning, but I was warm, and a cloudy 19C is expected. Cheers. |

Widespread rain to the SW, but whether or not we'll get much from it, we'll just have to wait and see (probably a good chance as I put the sprinkler on yesterday). Grant Darwin NT |

Last night and through out the early morning we got our first bit of rain since September last year, though only 8.4 mm fell around me other areas got much more with areas on Kangaroo Island receiving 60 mm + and others places 20 mm +.. After an extremely hot Summer and very warm Autumn things are now rapidly cooling down to high teens and low 20's with over night temps dropping to around 7 c to 13 c... I do hope the rainfall picks up in coming months as our farmers had to dry seed this year.. Steve |

I do hope the rainfall picks up in coming months as our farmers had to dry seed this year.. The ABC had a story with some rainfall numbers the other day- The state's reservoir levels sit at 43 per cent of their 200-gigalitre capacity, compared with 50 per cent at this time last year. And the outlook over the next couple of months isn't looking too promising either. Grant Darwin NT |
