Hi all, I'm noticing that I have to manually start Boinc with Windows 10. I can create a task in scheduler. Is there a way for Boinc to run when Windows starts in the Boinc prefs? Thanks, Atomicweight |

Hi all, If you run the standard windows seti install it will "automatically" start right after you logon your account. Just give it some minutes. I haven't tested it formally but I think it may even start up Seti when you don't login on a system with a single account. A way to test it is to not login immediately when you start your system. If you then login later and the Seti icon is already showing on the taskbar then it is starting with the machine rather than after you login to the machine. In BOINC Manager do Options->Other options->check "Run Manager at login?", check "Run the client?"->Save. These add specific instructions to the registry that start BOINC minimized at the next Windows restart. |
