Hi everyone. Not exactly GPU related here but, close enough. Just wondering if anyone knows whether or not SETI@HOME tasks can be run on the Intel Neural Compute Stick? And, if so, can several Neural Compute Sticks be plugged into a mains powered USB hub to act as a cluster?

Thanks in advance for any information. I will do my best to reply to all who offer information.

The Intel Neural Compute Stick is used to test and tune neural networks, before these are put into stand alone machines such as drones and robots. It has a vector processing unit, which might be able to be used with OpenCL kernels, but for which this project has no science application. You'd have to port and build your own then.

I am confident that we would love for someone to port and build a science app to allow processing with Neural Networks. Heck, we might even find the LGM faster :)
