As the title says, after I re-installed Boinc, no GPU task is running, all are marked as "Posponed"! What does it means?

The only error I see in stderrgui is the following repeated and nothing in stdoutgui:

"(boincmgr:7084): Gtk-CRITICAL **: 11:29:02.711: gtk_box_gadget_distribute: assertion 'size >= 0' failed in GtkScrollbar"

My system:
CPU: Intel Core i7-8700k CPU @ 4.3GHz
O/S: Linux 18.04.2 LTS & kernel 4.18.0-16-generic x86-64
Ram: 16GB @ 3600Mhz
GPU: nVidia GTX 1070ti c/w nVidia 390 driver
Boinc: v 7.9.3 (x64)

I am not certain but it is certainly possible that your nvidia driver version is too low.
Since your computers are hidden I cannot tell what version of BOINC you are running (repository or Tbars-all-in-one).
Tbars-all-in-one requures version 3.96 or higher of the Linux Nvidia driver.

Any attempt to run Tbars-all-in-one after installing the Repository version has been very troublesome and hard without re-installing the OS so you have a clean environment.

Here is a link to Ubuntu-based NVIDIA driver updates. Takes you all the way to 4.18 or so as a version. In any case I would run at least 3.96 or so.

You use the command line from a terminal [to run two SUDO commands] followed by running the software update utility, select for the "additional drivers" tab. It takes a while and you do need to re-boot the system afterwards.

I am guessing here. I hope someone has a better idea. And better directions.

Since the error is gtk based, guessing the libwebkitgtk-1.0 hasn't been installed?

The stock CUDA9 app is able to run on the 390 level driver. Only the CUDA92 app needs 396 or better.
