Hello!

I have been trying to find some answers, however, luck is not with me.

The Windows 7 PC I have been using to run SETI@home is acting odd, and I am afraid that it is on the verge of dying. I have work in my queue, however, the PC is no longer recognizing any graphics cards I install, which prevents the GPU specific work from starting. I would like to transfer the work to my gaming PC to finish them up, however, the steps that google has told me seem to not work.

I would like to know if I "Reset Project", which says it "deletes" the work, does the work actually get deleted forever... never to be processed? Or does the work go back to UC Berkley to be redistributed to other PC's?

I do not wish to leave work undone, or potentially lose the "wow" signal over hardware dying.

Any information would be greatly appreciated!
thanks!

The work will be redistributed if it is not completed. The best thing to do is Abort the tasks first... select them (use Shift+click to select a range) then click Abort and confirm. That way they are immediately reported as not completed to the server and will be re-sent right away. Otherwise with active tasks if the project is reset they may not be reported and then there will be a delay of whatever their timeout is (up to two months) before the servers time them out and redistribute them.
