I ran seti at home in the 90’s, and I’m trying to run it again, but it seems like it stops running when the screen goes dark, and I can’t find a non GUI version, which will run faster. What happened to seti at home? |

Classic SETI@Home was retired a good few years ago and was replaced by the version running within the BOINC framework. It is possible to run with the BOINC GUI minimised, and all the screensaver & power saving modes disabled, which will undoubtedly improve the performance a bit, how much very much depends on your system.
